Such people are of the view that the alcohol has the ability to increase the blood pumping mechanism of heart. But researches have shown that if the alcohol consumption exceeds certain levels, heart attacks, strokes etc can occur to patients with coronary problems. Excessive alcohol consumption will increase the blood pressure and subsequently heart problems can develop. When we consider the effects of alcohol on other parts of the body, the advantages of alcohol consumption seems to be negligible. It is impossible for us to limit the alcohol spreading only in the heart alone.
