Benefits of exercises are basically on well being and health status. There are several approaches that were used to teach the unit, they include cooperative learning, inquiry teaching and direct instructions. Basically, direct instruction method of teaching is useful in introducing students to new study areas. The method was widely used in teaching of the unit because it was important in introducing other relevant topics such as anxiety and depression. This is because may be other students may not be well versed with the terms. On the other hand, inquiry teaching method was basically used because it could enlighten the students on physical activity and make concrete conclusions and prove other facts such as contribution of physical activity in personal wellbeing. The method was also used due to its strong base on Blooms Taxonomy cognitive learning levels. Basically, Blooms allows students to learn basic knowledge of anxiety and depression and obesity and learn benefits of physical activity towards wellbeing and health, statistics inclusive. Furthermore. It can be used to analyse and compare levels of emotions and unhealthy and healthy lifestyles. Students are then able to advance to the application and evaluation levels through justification assessment and exercise plan tasks. On the other hand, cooperative learning method is widely used because it is beneficial to many students. The method provides students with opportunities to assess individuals’ backgrounds, abilities, experiences and culture differences. It allows them to recognize its value and respect. It also boosts confidence of individual students and their self-esteem. This is because it allows individual students to experience success in learning. ICTs were also integrated in learning the topic. They were basically used in assessment of tasks and research purposes. There were different ICT gadgets used, they are cams and computers among others. Furthermore, I would like to integrate CGC because I hope it might increase competitiveness of students among their peers I their quest for new knowledge. It also increases physical activity of students without their realization too. The students will also be required to identify their preferred athlete and emulate their physical; activity that they mostly prefer. Finally, as a teacher it is essential to use different learning methods in provision of new knowledge or teaching. This is because students have different intellectual abilities and easily grasp concepts through different learning methods. Therefore, using different learning method will provide equal opportunities for students to gain knowledge. Reference List EDX1450 NIA (2010).
