This is attributed to the fact that the woman is forced to carry a pregnancy to term without her consent. Legalizing abortion has also made the situation worse; this is because it has led to many women performing unsafe and illegal abortions.

The arguments by the pro-choice individuals do not hold ground; the arguments are based on personal gratifications. Giving the woman to do her will other than what is prescribed by the doctor (in cases where the doctor allows the abortion because of the potential risks to the fetus and the mother) is exposing her to abortion complications. Abortion is known to cause complications whether performed in the safest ways or not.
