The program’s mission is to solicit applications for grant from organizations, which propose to attain improvements in health outcomes through the development and dissemination of information that is evidence based to clinicians, patients, healthcare administrators and policy makers.

The program also will respond to the expressed needs of the aforementioned bodies regarding the health system and clinical interventions that are highly effective for particular patients in specific circumstances. The budget of the aforementioned program is of about 1 million dollars per year for a period of 5 years (Farley, 2007).
