The first challenge is information overhaul, the presence of excess information at a point, and is caused by the pooling of different sources of information. The available information in excess amounts may then reduce personnel’s ability to identify a required piece of information for a practice or the ability to make decisions from retrieved information. Another challenge is simultaneous need of the same piece of information by different users (Hovenga, 2010). Examples of interoperability challenges Restricted access to some information and structured organization of information, which may not be known to some of the users are example of interoperability challenges because they both hinder universal access and understanding of information among users (Halley, Sesmeier and Brokel, 2009).

Possible strategies for addressing interoperability challenges The identified interoperability challenges can be addressed through ensuring universal access to information as opposed to restricted access. The challenge in structure can however be addressed by creating awareness among relevant users of the applied structure in storing information (Halley, Sesmeier and Brokel, 2009). . Street children, with respect to accessibility to affordable quality care, are another researchable population.

Children who have lost their parents to HIV infection with respect to their perception to effectiveness of healthcare facilities and health care personnel is another population that can be explored in my field of practice. My most appropriate population for use in a research study is the low-income African American women and the research will investigate their access to affordable health care with regard to self-care. The choice of the most appropriate population for a research study identifies two possible independent variables and one dependent variable for a research.

The independent variables are age and level of household income of a participant while the dependent variable is access to affordable health care with regard to self care. With implementation of a quantitative research study, the following research questions can be explored to understand the need for measures to promote healthcare among the population, Is there a significant relationship between age and household income of a woman from African American ethnicity and access to affordable care?

Is there a significant interaction effect between age and household income in influencing an African American woman’s access to affordable health care? Challenges in obtaining a sample from a population and strategies to addressing those challenges Sampling from a marginalized population faces a number of challenges because of the nature of the population in terms of sensitivity, awareness, and environmental factors.
