Introduction Area 51 s back to Second World War. The United s army base was situated in grid number 51(the area.), Nevada. This area is used by the United States Air force for introducing new aircraft and testing the aircraft. During the Second World War, this location was the bombing place. Then it was not used for many years. After some years, this site was selected as the landing area for the fighting war planes. From then it is used as the base for the military.(Doherty 2003). As this area is used also for testing the newly introduced airplanes, security is being put up throughout the Nevada desert. This place was preferred as it is located far away from the city. Few years later, various lights started appearing and since then heavy security is provided around that area. This made the government to shut down all the places from where the area 51 could be seen. This area is surrounded by Groom Lake on one side and NTs on the other side. Rachel is the nearest place from Area 51.Later people started to believe that the area is used to test aircrafts and other UFOs which caused the lights to appear. This area is comprised of workplaces, houses and runways for the aircraft. Railway facility is enabled as there are some underground lines that connect some of the nearby states. This place is also used as the training centre for the military and security forces. The aircrafts used in the military are tested and experimented in this place. Hence area 51 was helpful in conducting test operations of the proposed aircrafts. Security As the place is far away from the city, the access to this place is restricted. The normal movements are observed and kept under supervision using the radar. The area surrounding Area51 is acquired by government and it is made sure that no outsider is allowed inside. Since the place is out of the reach of normal population, it is difficult to locate this place easily. Area 51 is considered as the head quarters of the U.S military and Air force. (Strickland 2005).The happenings of this place are maintained as a secret. The officials are divided into groups and assigned to various projects. They would be under the control of group heads and they take care of the ongoing projects. Each time a new aircraft is designed, they are tested to ensure proper working of the system. Satellites play a vital role in these areas. As each and every action has to be under the supervision, satellites are used. Security is the important aspect of this area, as the information regarding the country's military and air force have to be kept intact. Circuit cameras are installed in all the important locations to record the activities. Only few people are given permission to enter the restricted area. Many level of security checks are conducted to make sure only authorized people are permitted. The information pertaining to the aircrafts and their development are also kept as a secret. The project head and the team members are instructed not to disclose any information to others.(Desjardins 2008). Every employee should sign a bond that specifies the details regarding this place will be kept as a secret. A person working in an aircraft is not allowed to gather information regarding another project that is being developed. Even access to information from the system is limited. Unless a person has undergone the highest level of security clearance, he is not allowed to access the details pertaining to each and every system. Since Area 51 is composed of military and security of a country, high security is maintained. Inside Area 51 Since the area is not open for public movement, the officials and employees make use of separate planes. Unique identification numbers are given to each aircraft which are being used specifically for this purpose. Professional trained people are appointed as pilots, so that they can easily handle the specially designed flights. The area is prohibited from trespassers and warning boards are kept at each and every place. People who fail to follow the rules are being punished by the officials. Hence this place is protected by security personnel. Various other security measures are taken to ensure proper maintenance of this area. Projects Many projects have been designed and developed in Area 51. Simultaneous operations are carried out in this centre. Jet, war planes and fighter helicopters are developed and tested. The recently developed jet was named SR-71. Area 51 has equipments to manufacture any sort of air craft. Planes ranging from small war planes and jets that accommodate war field equipments can also be developed in Area 51. These planes are designed and manufacture using special high end technologies. After a plane is developed, it is made sure they work well. Testing is performed to check its faults and ensure it is working properly. As this is a secret area, the planes produced here are not known to the outside world. Spy aircrafts are also manufactured. They are used by the military force to know about the happenings in other countries. These aircrafts are designed to fly higher than the normal planes. Since this area is exclusively meant for military and security forces, the planes were created with the aim of helping in the battle. Tacit blue is one among the aircrafts that is used during war. Bomber planes are also manufactured and they are mostly used in war between countries. Aliens Many people feel that aliens exist in Area 51. A spacecraft that carried aliens has crashed in a place near Mexico. After this incident, people started believing that some scientist might have brought the remaining of those aliens to this place. All these rumors continue to spread and this strengthens people's belief. Theorists try to find out the truth and they are trying hard to prove it. People think that aliens continue to exist in Area 51 and some theorists add to this. (Saunderson 1996).Government did not agree with the existence of aliens and their research being conducted in Area 51. During 1947, people noticed an object flying on the sky. The government issued news that said some parts of flying object have been recovered. Then Army resolved this issue by ensuring it was a balloon which is used to forecast weather. Sometime later they suspected it to be a balloon that was sent as a spy. A recent survey conducted among the workers has revealed that aliens are in no way connected with Area 51. But some scientists and theorists continue their research on area 51. Several years later, Robert Lazar revealed to the world that Area 51 has been developing alien operations. He also presented that Area 51 stores some of the flying saucers that are used for aliens. Then a proper investigation was carried out to know the truth. Most of Robert's statements and theories were found to be wrong. People believe Robert's statement which said reverse engineering is done on the space shuttle that is used for aliens. Due to this information, people started thinking that technologies which make use of aliens are being used in area 51. The operations in Area 51 were facing difficulties due to the test site in Nevada. As nuclear tests were being conducted in Nevada site, some of the executions in area 51 were disturbed and delayed. People residing near the test site found it difficult to move to some other place whenever a test is being conducted. Area 51 did not have a proper disposal site. The waste and unused parts of aircrafts were burnt in that site itself which exposed toxic gas. This led to severe pollution. After the pressure from government and issue of several laws, Area 51 has improved and helped in protecting the environment. Although the government has revealed much information about Area 51, the place still continues to be a mystery. Many scientists and research fellows have been coming out with their own ideas and findings about Area 51.
