Introduction United is the super power nation and on an international level it has a position which no other country has. America has been politically dominative country and always played a role in many international issues. America is a great power and has an authoritative power and has a qualitative military authority. America is a liberal nation and has a society where people have rights and freedom to exercise their choices and desires. Liberty and equality always has been an ideal for Americans. According to Mc Graw(2011)“The idea that America is an exceptional nation developed soon after the Revolution when members of the founding generation pointed out that the United States was the first nation to be created anew on the basis of the universal principles of liberty and equality”. On an International order America has many shades of being a hegemony and imperialist. America has been overly indulging into the political affairs of other countries. They have the political interest in all matters and try to get benefit out of it. The recent war in Iraq and Afghanistan is an ideal example of their hegemony. Even though not very direct with imperialism it is also a dark side of America. America is a nation with lot of positive values and every country wants to be powerful and liberal like them. However, the political stand of the country is hideous and has many strategies which might not be transparent and beneficial for its counterparts. The police analysis from the standpoint of Marxism, Liberalism and Realism America has a different image to show. Concept of Liberalism, Marxism and Realism Liberalism is a political ideology where in a country gives complete freedom and equality to its citizens. Liberty is the main cornerstone of liberalism and it was as a result of enlightenment era. Liberalism provides an opportunity for the citizens to take part in government. Social balance and harmony are the consequences of liberalism. Human privileges and rights are given much priority according to liberalism .Equal rights and freedom of speech is the unique characteristics of liberalism. This necessarily gave richness and diversity to the nation as there is equal contribution from all the population. However maxims are a radical political ideology where there is lot of aggression and struggle. It was originated in Soviet Union due to the feudalism and oppression of working class. Marxist ideology is the equal rights of people and wanted to abolish capitalism. It was against the concept of manipulation of labor class by the industrialist. Marxism could not survive more due to the fact it created lot of hatred towards rich people and created rift in the society. On the other hand realism is all about a concept which believes that every nation is run by self interest. Here the country accumulates wealth and power to secure itself. The citizens are self reliant and seek more power and authority. Realism proposes that every nation is competitive and wants to be successful than other. When analyzing America from all these political models the country seems to exercise a unique power on an international order. America is definitely a country which believes in liberalism and on an international order it is the most liberal country. America is even criticized to be too much liberal on social values and human rights and freedom. Americans are liberal on freedom of speech, social values and other social practices. It is a country with less inhibitions and taboos. Many countries does not approve with America on its liberal values and freedom it gives to public. However, the country cannot be considered to be Marxist in its political ideology. They do not have any favors for labor class and ironically the rich class is growing considerable in the country. America is the country with most rich population and working class is the entire one who is struggling to survive. When considering the Marxist attitude of other countries like Russia and China, America abandon those theories decades ago. However it could be said that America has a capitalist society where the privatization of market has created difference in class. America has a good proportion of rich and poor people. Profit making is a main ideology of American industrialist and they have high control on American political system. From the point of view of realism America is a country which believes of being a moral country. The country has an immense national interest and integrity. America is overly interest in its growth and sometimes does take dominion over other countries forts benefit. The military of America is powerful and even intimidate its counterparts. America is a powerful nation and democracy and freedom are the central values of the country. It is powerful nation on the basis of economy, wealth and political authority. With respect to GDP America is the most powerful and technology is another possession of America. The natural resources, the military, the industrial base and large population make it as the most potential country in the world. It has good judicial and law enforcement system, which makes it powerful from other countries. America on an interaction level has a bigger voice in International organization like WHOM, UNICEF and UNESCO. America has more military bases all over the world and can be a mediator for any nation. American dollar is powerful and most trades are conducted in American currency. America President is the most influential authority in the world and can manipulate many political affairs on international level. The economic resources of the country impart them with structural economic power. America has most the corporate giants in the world and has the most talented and entrepreneurial population .According to Naim (2011) “Some of the main pillars of America’s international dominance are still the world’s strongest. Wall Street, the Pentagon, Hollywood, Silicon Valley, universities and many other sources continue to be unmatched by their foreign rivals”. The country has powerful influence on many Western countries and can wage war with countries on its own term. The country has dominion over many nations and has the ability to manipulate them for their material benefit. America from a power analysis can be tagged as a hegemony and imperialistic nation. Theories of Hegemony and Imperialism Theory of hegemony was proposed by Gramsci where in it is suggested that a class exerts pressure on other class to follow its political and economic project. Here a dominant group in a society intimidates the lower class to follow their principles and jurisdiction. Actually in this case, laws and guidelines are imposed by the dominant group over the society. The coercive power of the powerful class controls the social life of people. The Capitalist of Soviet Union was an example of hegemony. The ruling class has complete control and manipulates other people for their benefits. Hegemony gives rise to struggle among working class and allow acquisition of power with one group of people. On the other hand Imperialism is a political ideology which had shaped the world. It is a theory which suggest that imperialism occurs when a nation expand by conquering territories. Imperialism is older than capitalism and existed from olden times in the form of plunder of land, gold and glory. Europeans had practiced imperialism since centuries and exploited every continent. They have utilized the natural resources and manpower of many countries and built their empire. Western countries are mostly imperialistic with America being the top in the order. The power of America can be classified as Hegemony as it has dominion over many countries. Hegemony basically means the leadership of one state over another on an international level. In this sense, America has rival powers on other nations like Iran, Afghanistan and Syria. U.S is considered as world hegemony as it has technological, military and economical advantage in relation to other countries. It has an authoritative and coercive power and threatens many nations on political level. America is well known for its interest in using force to attain its objectives. As per Stivachtis(2012) “The George W. Bush Administration goal was comprehensive hegemony, in which America’s military might was as great as to make balancing pointless, and in which its universal values informed the wholesale reform of the global political and economic order”. America has been trying hard to conquer the middle Easter region for the benefit of procuring oil and the attack on Iraq had been one of the steps. America is the one who sets international law and has the power to alter it and has no accountability to anyone. The interest of America in the Iran’s nuclear war can clear the political power and authority of America. They had an immense power in ceasing the nuclear activity of Iran and also been threatening North Korea. America is hegemony because it has the highest productivity and information and technology system. Many countries have to oblige with America to meet their technological needs which give them extra power and authority. Also the quality of life of American is better than many countries in the world and people immigrate to America to make a better life. They have a political infra structure which gives freedom and equality to people and has a larger population than many western countries. America has been racist towards Muslims recently and they attack on Afghanistan and Pakistan shows that they are dominative. America never allowed any nation to overtake them and has strategies to stop their advance. Middle East region has been their latest victim. America is not only hegemonic but also has imperialism if looked from an international order. America has a long history of waging war with other countries and it is evident from their encounter with Japan, Vietnam, Spain and Iraq. More over the American policy which induced foreign countries to consume their goods has been an imperialistic strategy. As per Piereson(2013) “At the forefront of those pushing for an aggressive American policy abroad were various industrial leaders, who feared that the United States would soon produce more than it could ever consume. New dependent states could prove to be markets for these goods”. American corporate giants have spread their market in to the entire world and people are addicted to the fast food chains of America worldwide. The American products are of high demand in foreign market and it is a way in which America has established its imperialism. Conclusion America had been a nation which the whole world idolized in earlier times. However, recently the country has accumulated large amount of hatred and despise due its overpowering nature. The political strategy of America had proved to be selfish and rebellious. America has earned an image of hegemony with interests those conflicts with its counterparts. America has had war all over Middle East and has changed their ruler and also intimidated people to fight for their lives. In the search of terrorist they have killed many innocents in Iraq, Afghanistan and Pakistan. They have had the enmity of Muslims all over the world and had been tagged as the most threatening nation. America even became the target of radicals due to their imperialistic nature The imperialism of America lies in their act of monopolizing the world business market. They decide the trade of oil and have technological power over other nations. America had been involving in the political affairs of all nations and interferes in worldly matters to find their benefit. America has the interest of being the super power of the world and they had done many atrocities and tactics to remain on top. The country has had many enemies and will continue to increase their enemies due to their foreign policy and hidden political agendas. America have been advantageous to world in many ways, however their political strategy is seriously selfish and unacceptable. To remain in power, the country has used many principles which make them an immoral country on many accounts. Bibliography McGraw,S. 2011.
