In addition to this, the research will provide some examples of his activities and contribution for the country to prove that he was one of the great leaders that have ever produce by Cuba. Literature Review Fight against corruption, injustice and inequality in the country made Fidel Castro one of the great leaders of all time. Fidel Castro freed Cuba from a dictator. The dictator was supported by America. However, the American owned organizations refused to support the government of Cuba after the American Civil war. Fidel Castro implemented effective leadership style and adopted effective strategy by nationalizing the Cuba based organizations. It was important for the country to ensure sustainability in the business environment to attain sustainable national growth rate. The Americans were trying blocking the island and stopping the export and import activities of Cuba. But, implementation of effective strategy helped the country to attain significant economic growth rate by increasing foreign trade activities. In addition to this, Fidel Castro also took some initiatives for other countries (Leonard, 2004). Now, South Africa can be considered as one of the emerging economies around the globe. In addition to this, effective developed policies and legislations helped South Africa to become free country from the ruling of British (Walker, 2012). Fidel Castro set examples by fighting against corruption and injustice. In addition to this, his revolutionary vision and activities did not end with Cuba. The great communist and politician had a vision to free his country as well as several affected areas around the globe from the racial issues and conflicts. South Africa was seriously suffering from racial issues. British was ruling entire South Africa. In addition to this, high inequality among the South Africans and British influenced a great leader, Nelson Mandela to fight against the racist British. Moreover, the British were supported by the Americans (Quirk, 2005). Fidel Castro could not tolerate this injustice. He sent his armed troop to South Africa in order to help the affected citizens of South Africa. He actually tried to support Nelson Mandela in the fight against racist British and Americans by sending armed troops. Nelson Mandela always tried to bring justice and peace in the country where each and every individual of different culture and racial background would be treated equally. However, South Africa became free from racial issues and injustice. Moreover, the support of Fidel Castro to Nelson Mandela can be considered as one of the biggest reason behind the freedom of South Africa apart from the biggest contribution of Nelson Mandela. However, several critiques have argued that his activities and strategies were inadequate. In addition to this, some critiques have added that his adoption of communist-socialist ideology actually has harmed the entire nation as it has violated the fundamental human rights. But, it is true that Cuba was suffering from injustice and corruption (Skierka, 2006). Moreover, the country was not gaining any kind of external support from its neighboring country. Therefore, it was important for the country to increase its business operation activities in order to become self-sustained. It helped the country to maintain sustainability and equality in the community and society. In addition to this, under the leadership of Fidel Castro the country achieved sustainable economic growth rate. Fidel Castro was inspired by the ideology of Karl Marx. He understood what is the significance of equality in society through the views and thoughts of Karl Marx. He had a dream to serve his country through his dedication, long-term vision and hard work. He had struggled a lot during the American civil war in order to maintain peace in the country. He believed that there should be a clear idea between poor and rich in a society. According to him, each and everybody within the society should have equal rights to gain fundamental and principle advantages. He joined politics in order to maintain the equilibrium within the Cuban society. It is true that capitalist business environment was ultimately affecting the poor in which the basic and fundamental rights of poor were not fulfilled. He led the movement against capitalism and succeeded to bring communism in the country. On the other hand, he understood the significance of bringing socialism in the country (Ramonet & Castro, 2008). He established effective balance between the poor and rich in the society by adopting and implementing several strategies to reduce the percentage of poverty in the country. However, his developed policies and strategies were criticized by some individuals.
