This simplifies things for students as they are able to understand and apply different grammar aspects being passed to them through reading the book. Moreover, the book is instructional, because it talks to students or learners in a more appealing way as it provides them with grammatical explanations of different theories applied and used in English as a language. In spite of, English being a mother language, many students and learners can not accurately apply it when it comes to writing because they are not able to distinguish between the different uses of clauses, verbs among other rules applied as theories in the language. Therefore, the book challenges many students to be aware of their learning processes of grammar through the use and incorporation of strategies which not only use and apply skills of memory, but also includes critical thinking and analysis skills. An example is that a good look at the book enables students not just to communicate, but communicate in an effective manner which is linguistically accepted in different parameters within and outside the country (Klammer, Schulz & Della, 2013).
In my opinion, the book is good for leaner sand students and especially in occasions where English is being taught. It uses a lot of examples creating a sense of organization through the use of numerous diagrams used by the authors to elaborate on the expansive structures used. The authors have reorganized the need at which student’s needs instructions to assist them in their writing exercises. Instructions in the book have been arranged in such a manner that students progress from writing simple sentences to complex sentences in series. This makes their writing interesting and easy for the teachers to use for the teachers using the book as an instructional guide. Moreover, the authors have also availed accurate principles of teaching sentence construction to teach through various presentations like diagrams and maps
