Java Programming The Java programming language was started in the early 90’s by a team led by James Gosling at Sun Microsystems as a means to implement virtual machination as an improvement of C++. The language was first actualized in 1995 as Java 1.0 with applicability on popular platforms. The language was pioneered by The Green team at Sun Microsystems with the original name being Oak, but as it developed, it was renamed to Java. Over time, Java has been released as Java 1.0 and Java 2.0, and is used in different machines and applications, especially over Internet browsers.

From research, it can be noted that the CPU history according to clock rate started at 2 MHZ in the first commercial PC which was created by MITS. Later, the IBM PC in the early 80s had a rate of 4.77 MHZ, which was later improved to 100 MHz by HP. This was also superseded by Intel in the P5 Pentium with speeds of over 100 MHz, and in 2000, AMD achieved speeds of up to 1 GHz. Intel later released clock rates of over 3 GHz in their Pentium 4 models and AMD broke the record with a chip that could go up to 8.3 GHz. To start a new java file in Netbeans, the first step is to open the program, then select new project from the file menu.

The next step is to select Java from the categories and selecting a project from the available projects menu. The user then types the project location and Netbeans opens a new java file.
