Management of Information systems al affiliation Management of Information systems Introduction Management information system is a concept that is changing as time goes varying from the organizational rules and regulations. This is a very important aspect in all organizations that are in today’s business. There are many ways to define Management Information System, but it is commonly known for the information system and the decision making programs that are related in the business. This also includes the computer technology that is based in the business world. The MIS is a system that has solution to the decision making and it supports the entire business. Business organization In business there are different types of organizations depending on the type of business that is offered. It is always good for a business leader to have a look at the forms of business organization and find out the best organization. The types of the business organizations can be the sole proprietorship, partnership and the business of corporation. For one to find out the best business organization, he or she can find it by the kind of tax offered in the business, the legal issues that are in the business, and the personal and financial concerns that are in the business. The sole proprietorship can be a one person working in a business and this is the most form of business in the world. In the sole proprietorship, there are both the advantages and disadvantages which affect the business either directly and indirectly. For example, one of the advantages is that the capital or the start up cost needed for one to start up a business is very easier. On the other side, the form of business has unlimited liability and there is limited life in the business. In the partnership form of business, two or more people are involved in the business. The business can be either small or be larger and it may include the accounting firms. In the partnership, there are still categories like the general and the limited liability business. Its advantage is that the business is very easy to form while it has unlimited liability. The third form of business is the corporation type of business. This is a business that is limited in number which gives a legal business motive. The business form has an unlimited life that is very commercial while the business has so many business regulations that offend most of the business leaders and workers. Business processes These are activities that are mainly created in order to achieve a certain goal or organizational specific. They are achieved by working on a number of operations that happen within the business. While working on the operations to find out the possible solutions to the problems in a business, there are a number of models processes needed. The explanation of the modeling there exists a use of diagrams, definitions and a number of examples for one to understand fully the real problem. The business process modeling (BPM) is the processes that use the methodology in the stages of the business solving. It started with the division of labor where there are a number of regulations applied in the field. In the business world, the modeling is used hand in hand with the organizations in the use of the conventional business. The methodologies are used in today’s organizations in solving the applications of the business. Example is the use of the business models in the government agencies and at the departments found in the charity and cooperatives. The models assist in developing the efficiency of the organizations and increase their quality. All this begin from where the business has a good capital and profit making but the organizations apply the methodologies. BPM is mainly aiming to improve a business in a way that the activities are connected with the quality production of the product and services being offered. For one to understand the business, there involves mapping and workflow and off course the use of diagrams. In the management of the business, like the organization, profit and the projects, there is a technical way of representing the data by the use of the management tool like Six Sigma, SWOT Analysis and the balanced Scorecard. Information Systems Strategy Triangle This is a question about the manager on how much he can know about information systems. There is a lot about IS and on how it can be important in the business strategy organization. In the real world examples, due to competition in the market, National linen Services faced a fall in their production. As a result, the company created a strategy of getting a system department and the implementation of a new BOSS was created that eliminated all the customers who had expired from the system. There is an impact in the information system whereby the firms in the business field override other businesses. The triangle in the Information Systems is a framework that explains all the impacts of the organizations in the IS. The triangle consists of the business strategy, organizational strategy and the information Strategy. The business strategy is responsible for the other strategies. The changes made in the strategy makes a defect in the business in order to maintain the balance. There are generic strategies that can make a business succeed as Michael Porter explains. There exists three types of strategies used in the business and they are the cost leadership, the focus and differentiation. Organization and Information Strategies In the business organization there are designs that are used for the success of the business. The big question is on the companies whether they can be able to organize its strategies for a good business strategy? This will be achieved by the use of the diamond business which is a framework that organizes important components for the better success of a business. There exist the managerial levels that are used as a framework in the business organization strategy. Information strategy is a specific idea or plan used to retrieve information services in a business organization. This enables the business to use new business strategies to improve the business and also realize the capabilities of the company. Conclusion In conclusion, in business there exists competition that is an advantage due to the cost of the business, leadership skills and the focus of running the business as a leader. The business triangle explains strategies that are used in the organization and in the information. There is a competition as a temporal hyper competition in the business world.
