The relationship between knowledge management and organizational culture case study Definition of the problem It is perceived that cultures affectindividual behaviors which are directly linked to knowledge, employees and teams in various organization units. Moreover, it is believed that culture influence the choice of when, where and who a specific knowledge ought to be exchanged. According to Allameh et al (1225), it is very clear that creation of new knowledge merely depend on organizational perspective.

Despite of the perspectives that the main effects of culture on knowledge management which is reflected on the individual behaviors, there is a paradoxical outcome about the specific norms that reinforce transference in organizations. Therefore, the report examines the thin line between these norms and their relationship with knowledge management. Research hypothesis Major hypothesis There is a relationship between knowledge management and organizational norms/cultureSecondary hypotheses 1.

There is a relationship between teams and knowledge management2. There is a relationship between client’s culture and knowledge management 3. There is a relationship between categorized culture and knowledge management HIT intervention/program Development of questionnaires based on the hypotheses to be tested. One of the questionnaires is about examining types of organizational culture and the other is about examining knowledge management dimensions. Methods to test the hypotheses 1. Taking the comparison of the mean of the types of organizational culture,2.

Taking the comparison of the mean of knowledge management dimensions3. Taking the correlation coefficient of each type of culture with knowledge management dimensionsSupport of the hypotheses testing The results show that culture can affect knowledge management in different ways. Organizational culture can be separated into three and it has varied influence on knowledge management. Ultimately, there three are compounded and conclusions are based on the findings.
