The features of the system that ensures its success include the Mechanism to communicate, the knowledge base and the inference engine. A decisions support’s knowledge base contains of the rules of compiling data. It is important to have these rules for the success of the organization as data orientation moves. In clinics, this enables clinical officers to determine the drug interaction. The knowledge base helps the support system in keeping track of new entry systems.

The inference engine aids the support system to combine the rules in the knowledge base and the patient’s data. (Gillam, 2010 ). 6. What is alert fatigue?  Alert fatigue refers to click frustration where medics fatigue over finding information on the computer. 7. Portability  Medium The system used by the store can be expanded and installed in different machines. Reliability  High  ERP is highly reliable and has low failure rate. This is because of the rigorous testing procedures by the store management and developers. It will ensure that the store accesses information. Scalability  Medium The capacity can be scaled up by the store management adding algorithms and usage. This allows for more applications and uses. Usability  High The system is easy to use once employees of the store are trained.

The user friendliness will also be favorable to clients as this is enhanced by the graphics and friendly interfaces as well as wizards. Disaster Recovery Plan  Low This is because of system integration. Without a good back up it may take time to recover fully. Authentication & Authorization  Medium The access is restricted through authentications and firewalls. This restricts access to particular people. Customers must therefore have accounts as well as the employees with passwords. Prevention & Resistance (Security)  Medium The system is relatively secure but hackers can compromise it.

This is because of many hackers who are malicious. Detection & Response (Security)  Medium An inbuilt reporting system can track any security breach.
