Introduction The presence of social media particularly social networking sites (SNSs) has come along with many virtues and vices. As of today, we are all aware of the tales that social networks cast dark shadows over activities that lead to suicide by the victim. According to CDC, “over half of all suicides occur in adult men, ages 25-65” while “Suicide is the 11th leading cause of death in the U.S. (homicide is 15th)”. Often, those issues that revolve around suicide emanate from private encounters, words, and/or moments, which spread at a vast speed once they appear in the digital stage frequently without the consent of the target.
