There is an ongoing divorce case and the some data is being required by the lawyers and prosecutors.
The psychologist should seek the consent of the client as to what and to whom the information will be given and the purpose that these data will serve. Fidelity is a part of the ethical guidelines stated by BACP.

The principle of info...
The principle of informed consent states that children should be made aware of all the conditions and procedures that they will encounter throughout the research. There should be an approval from the child if he/she wants to participate in the research or not. The child should be provided with the freedom to decide if he/she wants to join or not and the researchers should respect the decision of the child.
Non-maleficence states that the procedures should not, in any way, place the child in danger or great harm while doing the research. The psychologist should seek other safer means of doing a procedure if it entails evoking stress from the subject. The psychologist may also ask for more knowledge or assistance from other specialists if they believe that there is a potential danger in one of the steps included in the research.
