I have realized the need for compassionate and dedicated care for patients in both community and hospital settings. As such, I have shared meaningful encounters with family members and friends who built my character of humility and humbles that makes me a well-rounded individual. The title of a nurse is not my motivation, but the promise that I have for all patients I handle, “to provide quality health care to them at all times.” This is because I focus on being an individual that society can respect for the decision I make with reference to health care issues. According to Promise Healthcare (2014), Promise Healthcare is an example of a modern hospital organization, which offers the largest long-term acute care.

Further, Promise Healthcare does not have issues of race and ethnicity discrimination, which makes it remain, focused on the delivery of quality healthcare for the patients. Thus, working in this organization will create an opportunity to learn how to direct focus on the goal of health and overcome social barriers in delivering quality health care. The members of the merchant classes did not give superstitious and magical beliefs a significant consideration. Their thinking was mainly based on rationality and measured calculation.
In his social criticism, Boccaccio demonstrates his disregard for magic through the roles of buffalo and before. In many cases, people believed magic efficacy was revolving around sexual jokes, revenge or money (Koffi and Schildgen 78). This implies that the satire does not rely on social class, but is focused upon people vulnerable to superstitious harm, and those in the society who are not intelligent enough. Such unintelligent people allowed witches to control their lives using magical spells and threats of magical revenge and harm from witches and wizards. People should differentiate between tales where magic appears as beffa vehicle and those that demonstrate the enormous debt that modern science and rationality owe to traditions of medieval romance.

Boccaccio used satire to ridicule the corrupt members of the society who violated the entire social values and ethics (Koffi and Schildgen 79). Further, he reveals the society in the 14th century in Italy, which was perishing from plague infection. The only hope of life and social rejuvenation lied on the ten youths who had escaped the wrath of the plague in their land. The names of the ten youths are all symbolic, and the youths represent various political economic and social phenomena.

In conclusion, Giovanni Boccaccio used to be a tales composer in the 14th century. His love tales had a wide range of themes ranging from love to tragic to erotic tales, Wit tales, life lessons and practical jokes among others. A large portion of the society in the 14th century had strong beliefs in incantations, rituals, magical spells and other superstitious practices. The members of the merchant classes did not give superstitious and magical beliefs a significant consideration, as their thinking was based on rationality and measured calculation.
