Health Aff (Millwood). 2004;23.The general definition that makes me understand the topic on the high rates of healthcare include Fisher helped me define health care which is diagnosing, treating ad preventing illness, injury, and other mental and physical impairments in humans.

The treatment of these ailments has been found to be very expensive. Another expensive health care service is self care. Self care is defined by Palo (24) as attitudes and actions that make a contribution to the maintenance and of the human well-being and enhancing human development. Levit, Smith, Cowan, Sensenig, and Catlin informed me that healthcare costs per person averaged almost $9,000 In 2012, a monumental rise from 2007, when healthcare per capita drifted around $7,600.CQ Researcher1.

The rising cost of medical care is considered as a significant threat to the economic security of workers and retirees in the long run. Laurin (27) argues that patients who are more learned and well informed have been found to have a greater motivation for self care. Most people do carry out self care, even though professionals and experts support self care at an increased fee in order to make people do improved self care. Using Lexis Nexis Academic1. Besides, the advancement of technology used for providing health care has also improved shifting the cost of treatment upwards.

The difference between the medical care expenditures in the US and those in other countries is as a result of higher prices of all services and the significant quantities of high-technology services in America.
