The hallmark of this room is created through the sense of reality evident through the various displays of portraitures. Viewing one portrait to another depicts the sense of the reality of their presence as they are displayed.

Portraits from the Renaissance until the age of expressionism are featured in this room.  Other forms like sculptures are also displayed. Modern styles of portraits are also highlighted. To catch a glimpse of what is in store in this section of the Museum of Diverse Arts, here are some of the arts found:

Leonardo da Vinci's Mona Lisa is truly a treasure in the art that has proven its pricelessness throughout time. It has always been one of the most studied, celebrated, discussed, parodied, and scrutinized portrait paintings in history. This creation from the early 1500s is accordingly a portrait of Lisa Gherardini as per the request of her husband Francesco del Giocondo. This oil painting is done on cottonwood panel canvass which is remarkably made to last for six centuries.
