Thousand and One Nights and The Inferno How culture is represented through religious or philosophical ideas in literatureVarious aspects of culture are usually represented in Thousands and One Nights and Inferno. The Thousand and One Night is referred by many individuals as the Arabian nights and it focuses on the formation of the Islamic milieu. The text usually focuses on the disregard of the Islamic context. The tales against the Islamic schools and theology are outlined and there is physical evidence that reveals the culture and religious struggle over Islam (Mahdi, 1995).

The book depicts the urban Islamic culture based on all varieties and complexities. The tales are documented by the periods of production and this reflects on the life of an Islamic individual while growing up. The temptations, aspects that obligate to their faith are defined. The story is aimed to a higher audience and they focus on the Islamic culture and the corruption and redemption that occur in the urban cities. It is described in a manner that concurs with the social and religious concern of the Islam.

According to Al-Musawi, he illustrates the consistent similarities that are evident in art and life. He also scrutinizes the medieval Islam society based on the social, political and the unique practices of storytelling.According to Dante, there is an imaginative correspondence between an individual on Earth and the punishment that receive in Hell. The scenario of the Inferno moment is explained in as spectacular image and symbolic power, where it is depicted that there is a sullen choke of mud and the gluttonous are forced to eat excrement (Mahdi, 1995).

This indicates the aspects of the religion theme based on the perfection of Gods justice. The depictions of the gates of Hell in Canto explain the fact that God was pushed to create hell so that the sinful individuals would burn there. According to the book, we note that hell was created to punish sins and the sustainability of hells punishments indicates on the divine perfection that all the sin violate.Dante portrays various cultural aspects and messages that emphasize on individual morals from the virtue of Gods punishment through hell.

We learnt that the torments of Dante and Virgil were harsh, he emphasizes that homosexual are supposed to encounter a punishment of walking through hot sand. Individuals who charge loans on the less fortunate will be suppresses to a rain of fire as their punishment (Mahdi, 1995). However, the poem explains the punishments of individuals in a single balance. The sinners will endure pain and suffering of their sins in an extent that matches the seriousness of their sins. In conclusion, both authors describe the tension of sins between the objective impersonality of Gods justice and sympathy to the souls that ask for repentance.

The text ascertains individuals of the wisdom of divine justice and how sinners will be punished on their sins through suffering. The inferno has been views as an imaginative narrative of human evil based on how Dante classifies it. Religion in both the Thousand and One Nights and the Inferno explores the evil probes that occur because of bad behaviors. They are not philosophical texts but they are not critically about evil but rather the teaching that reinforces the Christian and Islamic doctrines (Mahdi, 1995).
