Mother and sister fed him and moved furniture in their house so that he can freely move. The story showed that no matter what will happen to us, our family will accept us no matter what even if we become an insect just like George.
In the end, George’s sister had been feeding her spoiled foods because his stomach becomes upset with regular human food. His mother also moved the furniture inside their house so that he can freely move like an insect. My initial reaction to the story was disbelief because I did not think that a human being could turn into an insect. But as the story moves on and nearing the end, I finally understood the moral of the story. My take on George is that there are figurative changes in our life that could be ugly just like turning into an insect. We ourselves may be hesitant to let our parents know because we are not sure how they would take it. Read More
