Lecturer Connection between Fiction and the Chinese People Government Introduction The topic for the research project is; the connection between fiction and people government in China. If an individual or organization desires to positively change or impact on individuals in a nation, then he/she should first renovate the fiction. Renovating fiction has tremendous benefits in the areas of improving; sound politics, positive social customs, improving learning and the arts, improving the understanding of the human mind, ensure positive character development, and generally positively influence the life of human beings. Human beings greatly value the literary form of literature. This is because of three main issues; fiction is interesting, enjoyable and easy to comprehend. Fiction literary aspects are applied in the key societal setups, politics, economy or religion, because of two key factors. The first explanation is that human nature is usually very discontented with the occurrences that continuously occur in the world. The world is physically limited and thus cannot accommodate adequately the diverse opinions and concepts. Instead of direct perception and contact with reality, human beings desire the perceive issues indirectly, which entails the world or life that is above the reach of an individual. This is among the key reasons of politics in China. Chinese politics enables many individuals to self actualize, as successful politicians are able to control the government, economy and the society. The fiction power is very effective in transforming human beings into relatively more intelligent beings, and thus positively transforms the society. The second explanation involves the continuous imagination of man, which is greatly influenced by his experiences. The human experiences involve; happiness, remorse, sadness, and anger. Fiction attempts to understand the motivations behind these human experiences.1 Fiction effectively transforms the human mind, resulting in understanding the human experiences. The Chinese fiction has been influenced greatly by the Western world. Part of the influences is that fiction enables human beings to be more intelligent, and thus easily governable. Another influence is that fiction enhances the modernization process of country, through the introduction of new issues and concepts. The development of fiction literature and science in China was ensured especially during the 1950s period of the leadership of the Chinese Communist Party, when China was realizing social industrialization. 2. Renovating Fiction Renovating fiction is diverse and entails positively addressing morality, politics, religion, social customs, education, arts, and human character. Fiction adequately enables effective influence on the thoughts and behavior of people. There is a great relationship between fiction and the Chinese society. The socio-political aspects of the renovating fiction, is addressed through three significant manifestos. Fiction has enough power to influence the masses and also to enhance the educational and learning aspects among the masses. However, the fiction setup utilized in the traditional Chinese society has numerous challenges in the area of effectiveness in sharing of ideas or concepts. Hence, the Chinese population was given new education on the new or emerging approach of fiction, which was very effective in Japan and also the western world. The main idea was to transform the public interest illustrated in the old fiction to the political fiction. This move was greatly motivated by the Japanese fiction aspects. At the initial stages of political revolution in Europe, the respected men of knowledge, patriotism and compassion continuously recorded personal experiences and upheld their views on politics influenced through fiction. People of diverse backgrounds thus had the opportunity of reading works connecting fiction and politics in the Chinese society during their free time; for example, teachers, politicians, farmers, and even students. The fiction literary works, therefore, had tremendous impact on the thinking and behavior of people on the current affairs. The political fiction literature greatly contributed towards development of the government of the present day democratic countries like; the United States, Japan, France, Germany, Italy and the United Kingdom. Renovating fiction had great impact on renovating the members of the Chinese society. Developing and adopting a new fiction has the potential of effectively influencing all aspects of societal life; for example, character of the societal members, ethics and morality, leadership approaches, and religious beliefs and practices. Renovating fiction ensures four important aspects to the society. These aspects are the ability to; uplift, incense, prick and, immerse people. The uplifting power of renovation fiction is very significant, because it enables people to emulate a fictional hero. However, the heroes that were majorly emulated by the Chinese were from the western world. The western revolutionaries and statements worthy of Chinese emulation include; Mazzini, Napoleon, Garibaldi and Washington.2 3. Improving Governance by Fiction The topic is suitable because it illustrates the ways in which governance can be effectively improved in China, through positively influencing the thoughts and behavior of the populace. Men generally favor fiction that the other categories of literature. Governance is enhanced through the two aspects of fiction; the realism category, and the idealism type. Reality fiction illustrates the daily occurrences that take place to improve political governance in China. One realism fiction is the democratic process involves in the selection of political candidates to state offices. People participate in periodic election processes that enable them to democratically elect their political representatives. Realism fiction is also illustrated through the public participating in the management of public resources. The members of the public are required to report any case of corruption to the law enforcement authorities; hence, the corruption vice has been satisfactorily controlled. Another area of realism involves the implementation of the legislative agenda of the government. The Chinese government continuously sets legislations that guide diverse areas of the Chinese society; for example, the conduct of citizens, employment relations, tourism, transport, and also agriculture. The government engages in comprehensive public awareness campaigns, to ensure adequate compliance to the legislations. The idealism fiction illustrates the ideal governance state in China. One idealism fiction aspect involves sound foreign relations. The Chinese government continuously strives to ensure smooth international relations with major global economies like the European Union, The United States, Brazil, India and Mexico. This will ensure good international business, which will enhance the economy of the country. The Chinese government presently concentrates adequately in emerging economies of Africa, South America, and Asia. This is because the emerging economies have high economic growth rates, and also acts a source of raw materials and key market for the finished Chinese products. 4. Significance of Fiction Men greatly value fiction than any other literature category. This is because fiction is very basic, easily understood, interesting, and adequately attracts the attention of the audience. Fiction works has the power to make people more intelligent; hence, positively transforming the world. Fiction greatly influences the mind of men. 3Liang Chicao is the first modern Chinese scholar who significantly participated in modern literature. He considered popular culture, more so fiction, as a critical path for developing the new citizenry. The new citizenry aimed at enabling the Chinese nation to get back its international stature. Fiction is very effective in influencing the human heart, and also in ensuring effective customs change. The fiction literature was promoted rapidly and widely until they became household references, which ensured easy changes in the concepts, habits and thoughts. Fiction literature assisted in overcoming the three major challenges that China experienced. These challenges are; bound feet, opium, and eight legged essay. Methods were thus developed to improve the three issues, so as to realize significant growth in wealth and strength. Chinese people interested in the prosperity of their country were, therefore, encouraged to produce fiction works with a new flavor. The fiction works should be developed using clear simple and clear meaning, so as to ensure easy understanding by both the women and children. The new fiction thus aimed at changing the thoughts and behavior of individuals, so as to effectively eliminate the nationwide challenges and problems. Lian Qichao believed that is a person is interested in renovating the Chinese people; they must begin by renovating the Chinese fiction. Fiction influences the thoughts and behavior of man in the society. Fiction is considered as a way to a patriotic end. Hence, writings and readings are very useful in the society because they have the power to influence thoughts and actions. Fiction concept was, therefore, very important among the members of the Chinese society. Fiction inculcated thought and actions that lead to appropriate conduct in the society; for example, patriotism and the political issue of democracy. 5. Fiction Schools Literary fiction is considered as the crowning glory through the two schools of thoughts; idealistic and the realistic schools. Fiction influences man through various powers. The society requires writers to develop gritty and edgy fiction. This is because they illustrate realism. Realism fiction addresses everyday occurrences in the society. For example, the one-child policy in china, the uneasy diplomatic relationship between China and Japan, and the increasing participation of China in global affairs like funding infrastructure projects in African countries. Part of these daily occurrences is illustrated through news agencies. China is a high density society and, therefore, very many shocking events take place. The shocking aspects of fiction thus forms critical basis for reality, and it affects all members of the society either directly or indirectly. People usually write their version of realism in the fiction genre, so as to express their feelings of guilt concerning these issues.4 Realism fiction addresses more than just writing about issues affecting the society, it addresses the action aspects that ensures the needs and occurrences in the society are effectively addresses. Realism thus has adequate place and role in the fiction genre. Idealistic realist believes that fiction requires more idealism. People mainly require happy endings in the fiction works, and also positive reinforcement. But, adequate efforts are also put towards developing idealism in the fiction works without turning the stories into fairy tales. Realism aims at endings that have small actions which illustrates adequate meaning. Expression of idealism in fiction requires the development of appropriate foundation. This should be done through ensuring adequate glimpse of the entire story. One example of a glimpse is the positive ending of a story. The second approach entails minimizing or preventing the clichéd images. The story should be ended with an issue that is small; for example, an image reflecting distant and fond memories, which are basic and based on the characters in the fiction. The ending may also have small action that illustrates the curiosity of the readers, and at the same time adequately satisfies the idealistic nature of the work. 6. Fiction Powers Thurification is one of the powers. The perception and sensitivity of individuals are affected unconsciously through reading. Immersion is another power. Immersion is when readers become very engrossed in the literary work, and thus integrates in the contents. Stimulation is the third power, while lifting represents the fourth power. Thurification is compared to entering a place filled with smoke, or touching ink and then being stained. This kind of influence is what is experienced when absolute knowledge depends on the political power. When reading fictional literature, the perceptions, sensitivity and thoughts of individuals are influenced unconsciously. The concepts of the fiction continuously become vigorous, and the effect spreads internationally. Fiction is therefore considered supreme because of its ability to influence the people, especially in the political processes.5 The immersion concept is temporal, and the effect changes based on the duration of time available. Immersion in fiction enables the readers to be engrossed in the literary content, and thus effectively integrate. The audience that is assimilated is not able to entirely free itself from the effects. For example, the feelings related to joy remain in the thoughts of individuals who read a literary work communicating political liberation. Fiction works have applied immersion in the Chinese political process. The readers thus become so engrossed in the political struggle, liberation and freedom processes. The effect of stimulation is very immediate. The readers or audience of this category of fiction have no control over the strange feelings or new concepts. The emotions or behavior are immediately stirred, leading to instant reaction. The more sensitive an individual is; the greater the influence of the stimulation effect. Men are thus directed towards instant enlightenment, especially as illustrated through popular political revolutions. The lifting power works outwards, from inside an individual towards the outside direction. This power is considered as the highest in the Buddhist religious beliefs. The audience of fiction works perceives that they have reached the level of self transformation. Thus, they behave and think like the principal characters when they are completely engrossed. For example, many Chinese leaders behaved like the political heroes of the Western world like George Washington. When one reads such fiction and becomes engrossed, he becomes cut off and enters the different fiction world. 7. Conclusion Thurification, immersion, lifting and also stimulation, therefore, plays great role in influencing members of the society towards positive thoughts and actions. The four powers have complete ability of transforming the world according to the desired direction, so as to reach the desired state. The four powers also illustrate the ability of nurturing the appropriate norms in the society. The religious leaders use these powers to develop sects and religious schools. The politicians apply these powers in managing the political rallies and campaigns. These powers give great authority and influence to the great writers, who on adequate applications become literary sages. People who effectively utilize these powers effectively in enhancing good, ensures benefit for millions of individuals. However, if the powers are utilized for evil purposes, then the resulting curses will be harmful for the following thousands of years. Fiction is very effective in influencing these powers towards appropriately and for the benefit of all members of the society. The fiction genre has a lot of influence on influencing and transforming the mind of the audience and readers. Thus, the universal fondness of fiction over is an important psychological aspect that is above human monitoring and control. Fiction is considered indispensable due to the interest and fondness that it generates from man. It is impossible to ignore fiction, because of the everyday contact that humans have with it. Currently, the Chinese people strive for success in examinations and the formal employment, and continuously desire honor, prestige and rank. These are ideals that have been initiated through fiction. Fiction also resulted in the Chinese honoring the prime ministers and the scholars. Fiction also contributes greatly to the obsessive tendencies that the Chinese have towards talented scholars and cute ladies. Fiction is also the main source of sympathy towards the robbers and the brigands. The fiction ideas are not normally transferred formally or seriously. Yet, all members of the entire diverse society harbor some of the ideals. The people are directly and indirectly influenced by fiction; this is because there are hundreds of fiction works that poisonously affect millions of individuals. References Liang Qichao.
