Fight club is written by Chuck Palahniuk and is basically a darkly funny novel which talks about the story of a god forsaken young man who finds out that his anger at living especially in a world filled with lies and disappointments cannot be pacified by an empty consumer culture which exists. Writer in his text tried to talks about the society where the wealth and class hierarchy is unequal and is divided. The story brings in the relief for the character and disenfranchised peers comes in the form of boxing matches which are held his the bar’s basements secretly.

The narrator in the novel experiences a rebirth in masculinity which is a result of the manifestation of Tyler Durden. This important character in the novel talks about the subconscious of the narrator and his desires which are important and essential part of the masculine identity.
