Extract of sample "The Study of Economics"

After studying numerous fields of studies, economics seems to attract me the most. I believe that the implementation of the theoretical concepts of economics can be witnessed in the societies more than any other field of study. This realization occurred when I returned to my homeland and saw the sudden boost of economic prosperity. The emergence of stability provoked me to study the economic decisions that were responsible for such growth and retained my attention for a long time. Another factor that pulls me towards economics is the applicability of this field in almost every walk of life; whether banking or industrial sector.

Every field demands effective decision making that enables the producers to conduct their business with the least amount of resources. It was Adam Smith’s theory of the “invisible hand” that made me understand the mechanics of a society in the simplest manner and understand the widespread of this field of study. The knowledge of economics not only benefits one professionally, it also helps to know the difference between right choices and wrong ones, for example, attaining most favorable agreement when buying a property etc.

The information of economics also enables me to comprehend the global ongoing activities in the economic sector and how it affects the life of a common man. The global depression has changed the world and has made the common man suffer due to few wrong choices by the top tier in the economic field. I aspire to attain greater knowledge in the field of economics and acquire a Masters degree to comprehend economic activities at a greater extent and devise solutions to reduce the effect of wrong decisions.

I shall be very grateful if you grant me the admission and help me pursue my dream of acquiring further education in the field of economics.
