IT’S STRATEGIC PLAN The operations manager in the organization has a role of ensuring the company has achieved its goals and expectations. Finding time to prepare the best IT strategic plans will result to the company achieving massive profits. It is the role of the operations manager to prepare the best computing strategic plan. The IT strategic plan has to include a mission statement. The mission statement will state how the organization’s IT strategy relates to the business objectives. For example, if the mission of the organization is to become the biggest exporter of cereals in the world, then every IT strategic plan has to help the employees achieve this mission and other business objectives (Steiner, 2010).

The IT plan has to include the SWOT analysis. The SWOT analysis will determine the progress of the organization and IT strategies as they relate to the general business capabilities (Steiner, 2010). The strategy should include a list of priorities. The priorities will include both the SWOT analysis and objective statement. The operations manager has to identify the important operations in order to acquire more skills and tools to assist in the future (Steiner, 2010).The company has key business processes.

The management ensures there is provision of access to services. It is each employees task to identify resources that are important for the growth of the company (Boar, 2002).The company supports direct customer service. For instance, the information services have their offices at the reception. Additionally, the company has provided a friendly working environment.
