My least-preferred co-worker scale (LPC) status as a relationship-motivated leader implies that I possess the ability to utilize my relationships with others to promote their productivity and improve their morale for improving performance. My managerial capability is impeccable and suitable for portraying creativity, self-motivation and exercising self control. The assessment test proves that my preference level towards motivating factors is higher than that of personal hygiene factors. The personal motivation will enable me motivate and create a stronger relationship bond with others; thus, improved performance.

Some of the self fulfilling prophecies that I have created from these managerial assumptions are: a manager is obligated to help and coach workers; most workers do not like their responsibilities; and offering good remunerations and job security alone is not enough to guarantee performance among workers. Additionally, workers portray prominent diversity in terms of their abilities and capabilities which the manager is obligated to note and devise proper strategies of dealing with them. My consideration of self respect, true friendship and equality as less significant in role performance is detrimental in the establishment of a smooth working environment with my colleagues.

This implies that I have an obligation of improving my attitude towards these traits in enhancing group work. The assessment test made me realize my weaknesses. The most prominent weakness is that I am not a task-motivated leader; therefore, I may not possess sufficient flexibility to ensure performance in all working environments. My stress test value is relatively high and not favorable for good performance in a collaborative working environment. The core of my morals is built on the premise of my personal internal satisfaction such as personal pleasure and happiness.

This may deter my ability to possess concern the welfare of my colleagues. My insufficient belief in perfect stakeholder relationship may deter my ability to personally unite or promote team work. My low rating of the required performance in task-motivated environments indicates that I need to up my focus on task performance in addition to strengthening relationships. The belief that workers should be allowed to set their own goals in the work place might make the unmotivated ones take advantage of the situation and portray laxity when undertaking their obligations.

What surprised me most was the fact that the results came out as a true reflection of my personality. The idea that I value pleasure more than other satisfaction factors surprised me because I always yearn for wisdom which I consider as a compulsory prerequisite for any performance-oriented person. I was really surprised by my high stress levels even though I considered my personality strong and easily adaptive to situations. The results of the assessment has enabled me develop efficient strategies that will enable me advance and improve personal performance.

The experience has taught me that there is a connection between the grades I achieve and effort I apply in my studies. My belief that promotions are earned through hard work and persistence will enable me focus on improving my output rather than expecting others to award me promotions through unfair means. This will negate animosity and lack of concern for my work mates. Most situations fail because many people do not make an effort of trying to make things work, for instance, marriages. The same
