For the charity event, the group decided to sell and buy certain products such as Chinese snacks as well as drinks. Therefore, the planned objectives of the project report can be to buy various types of products such as jelly, juice, chocolate crisps and chocolate puffs among others and sell the same based on the demands of the customers and earn significant amount of profits. Hence, the objective is to earn profits from the charity event and donate the same to those needy people who have been suffering from cancer. Comparison among Planned Objectives and Actual Results Previously mentioned, the planned objective is to earn high profit by selling several types of products to the customers for donating the money to the needy people suffering from cancer. The actual results of the project report could be ascertained as that the Kungfu group bought certain products at the amount of £224 and sold the same at £304.7. Therefore, the profit amount realised to £80.7, which was donated to help the sufferers (Kungfu Panda, n.d.). Differences between the Plan and Actuals The differences between the plan and actuals could be defined as effective strategy based on which the predetermined objectives of a program are achieved within a specific timeframe (Grant net, 2008). In this regard, one of the differences between the planned and actual objectives relating to the group work can be apparently observed as getting the objectives to get framed initially and fulfilling the same with utmost priority. Reasons of the Differences between Planned and Actual Achievements There are certain differences to be noted amid planned and actual objectives, as based on the plans derived, at certain times the desired purpose could not be made effective. To make the program i.e. the charity event successful, it is essential to motivate the people to purchase different products as offer by the group. In this regard, motivational theory is appropriate to encourage the people to buy the products that offer by the group, as this is deemed to be one of the easy ways of making the people to support the same (Berliner & Calfee, n.d.). However, one of such differences could be ascertained as the unwillingness of the people towards supporting the event due to having lack in motivation. Project Evidence The pieces of evidences relating to the charity event of Kungfu Panda have been presented in the section of Appendices. Product and Quality Review Main Products and Sub-Products Specially mentioning, one of the main products of the project can be apparently recognised as listing the selling of certain essential products to raise funds for donating to the organisation of Cancer Research UK. Such products include jelly, coconut juice, chocolate crisps, chocolate puff, ale overs, prawn cracker, bubble tea, chestnut, seaweed noodles snack and vegetable crisps that fulfil the needs of the people or the customers (Kungfu Panda, n.d.). Notably, the group members of the charity event also focused on maintaining the quality of the stated products, as they strongly believe that by providing good quality of products, they can satisfy the demands of the same and can certainly increase the number of selling products(Queensland Government, 2006). This could be regarded as one of the main sub-products of the project, which is quite effective. On the other hand, the products that are found to be not effective entail poster, pen, sticky notes and papers. These are recognised as essential products, but these often do not meet the daily needs of the people. These particular products can be regarded as the contributory factors towards making the project successful. This might be owing to the reason of making the people to use these products largely and generate greater awareness about the project or the charity event (Kungfu Panda, n.d.). Assumptions of Affecting the Products Based on the observation, one of the main products i.e. listing the products to get sold for raising funds can be originally estimated to create impacts on the project. The factors concerning time and cost could be the assumptions and the factors that may have affected the products to get produced within a specific time (Thornton, 2011; Kungfu Panda, n.d.). Review of Lessons Learnt From the Project Learning Experiences of the Project During the time of completing the project, I learned several new elements that can prove to be much effective in my future references. From this project report, I came to know about how to raise funds for conducting a charity event and serve for a noble cause as well as the betterment of a society. Apart from these aspects, I also learned about how to raise greater awareness amid the people about a particular program such as a charity event for Cancer Research UK in this case and motivate such people towards successfully completing the same within a predetermined timeframe. Through this program, I understood several strategies that are important to consider for making any project successful. Especially mentioning, the project or the program improved my ability skills that can be helpful for my future projects (National Academy Foundation, 2012; Burnett, 2006). Recommendations for Action In Relation To This Project The group members of the project should have more awareness about the products and also enhance their respective ability skills to increase the profit amounts so that they can able to donate much to the organisation i.e. Cancer Research UK. The group members may also focus more on the motivational theory to encourage huge figure of people and make the project successful. More importantly, the group members are also ought to focus more on developing the quality of the products to be sold for raising funds so that they can meet the needs of the people and develop long-term relationship with them, which can be benefited for future three years (KPMG, 2015). Recommendations or Actions In Relation To the Future Project The future project can be another charity event in relation to the selling of clothing products, as these products fulfil the daily needs of the people and raise the probability of raising more funds to make the charity event successful. In recent trends, people have become more advanced and they wear variety of designer cloths. The group members should sell variety design of products along with quality clothing so that they can motivate more people towards participating into any charity event. The group members of the charity event in future may design the clothing products for male, female and children in order to attract more buyers and raise the amount of funds by a considerable extent (Forum for the Future, 2007). Learnt About Working in a Group Learning Experience of Group Work Based on my understanding, working in a group is found to be much beneficial owing to the reason that it can aid in gaining several knowledge and varied job experiences. By working as a group, I came to know that various effective strategies are being adopted as well as executed for attaining predetermined objectives of a project. I also learned that a group can complete a specific project within a specific period and likewise group work can prove to be much effective than individual work, as in group work, the group members can provide their respective ideas to complete the respective works effectively (Monash University, 2015). Impact of Other People on My Learning The involvement of other people imposes greater impact on my learning and helps me to improve my interpersonal skills. During the time of working in a group, I acquired immense knowledge from other members of a group. From one member, I came to know about how to tackle difficult situations. From other members, I improved my commutation along with personal development skills, which can be helpful for my future project. From another member, I learned about leadership skills and how to manage the team members (Burke, 2011). Successful Part of Experiences The most successful part of the experiences was handing difficult situations at the time of absence of the leader. While working as a group, few group members tend to create problems that hampered the work environment. Therefore, I with the help of my colleagues handled the situation by using own ideas (Burke, 2011). Different Aspects in Future Group It is expected that the future group will be reckoned as a strong one and the group members need to possess the capability to work as a group and possess the knowledge about the benefits of group work. With the help of future group, I can also divide the entire works within the group members based on their job roles. Therefore, the group members can complete their respective works effectively within the given period. In future group, I will implement the knowledge and skills of the group members to make the project successful (CSHE, n.d.). Reflection on Individual Learning Most Contribution Factors In this project, I contributed my knowledge, skills and time that are regarded as the imperative factors for making a project successful. During the project, I contributed my experiences to achieve the objectives of the project. At the time of doing the project work, I concentrated on enhancing my understanding skills about the project work. Moreover, I also developed my ability skills to take right decisions at different complex situations. In this project, I made better use of my creativity skills to make the project report more effective than others (University of Guelph, 2015). Skills and Knowledge That Has Been Used In this project, I used my knowledge, ability, communication and leadership skills to complete the project work successfully. With the help of communication skills, I can communicate with other members of the group and by the help of leadership skills, I could take the initiative of making right decisions even the situations become much complex. It is worth mentioning that these skills improved my confidence level at large (Dixon & O’Hara, n.d.). Skills and Knowledge Gain from the Project From the project, I gained certain hard as well as soft skills also. For instance, I learned about incorporating appropriate tools as well as technique within the leadership skills. Through these skills, I can improve my project work and with the help of leadership skills, I can also enhance my leadership quality as well as decision making skills. From the project, I also improved my communication skills through which I can communicate with other group members related to the group works (University of Guelph, 2015). Updating Of My Resume After the completion of the project, I can update my resume by adding knowledge and skills such as ability, leadership and communication skills. Moreover, I can update my resume by adding my work experiences in a group along with individual learning experiences. I can also add the information about my strengths such as possessing better and improved ability as well as communication skills. Therefore, I can easily learn new things along with obtain adequate knowledge for my future work (Smith, 2015). References Berliner, C. D. & Calfee, C. R., No Date.
