Leadership Recommendation The implementation of the new software system for Kudler Fine Foods demands effective leadership approach. With the aim of raising operational efficiency, an introduction of the new automated system will be highly beneficial. The introduction of the new approach aims at replacing the current HRIS system that has been applied by the human resources personnel’s and store manager. Several data are entailing the personnel files, performance reviews, employee grievances, disciplinary actions and payroll processing. Effective leadership importance and proper leadership styles are very crucial in the process (Nieuwenhuizen & Erasmus, 2007). The importance of the effective leadership during a change management initiative emanates from the essential understanding that only under proper effective process is when the transformation operations will run appropriately. Effective leadership is important since it inspires action. It creates or generates a vision of the forthcoming future that derives inspiration of the people managing the change process. The system change must have supporters and those who reject it. Effective leadership will outline the advantages of the system to Kudler Fine Foods staffs. Staffs are always associated with negatively and opposing of incoming changes, especially from the administration. Effective leadership will aim at providing optimism and create a general great vision for the adoption of the new model. Effective leadership creates a positivity and removes doubt in the ability of the newly installed system. The effective leadership format would provide enhanced levels of integrity, fairness and huge respect for the associated stakeholders in the process of managing the system. Proper and effective leadership would create a strong team that works coherently and consistently at their very best of the skills and talents. Proper leadership assures everyone of safe ambiance for success and expansion of their horizons thus allowing them to have a clear picture of what is expected in the process. It further creates a supportive and facilitative environment the team. Effective leadership creates confidence and coordinates the supply chain in case the installation process would demand any entailed logistical process while running the procedure. The attributes of effective leadership would enhance increased communication as it is the only way of transmitting knowledge and skills while undertaking the project. I would recommend the following four leadership styles for Kudler Fine Foods during the change process. Charismatic, innovative, Command & control and pacesetter. The introduction of the new system would influence a large majority of people, therefore, effective adoption depends on the best leadership style borrowed to convince the users. Charismatic leadership style is the only notable way of creating strong perception and comprehensive assessment of the level desired for the project. With influences other people through the use and appropriate application of the power of personality. The leadership style would steadfastly act fast in creating an energetic and motivating ambiance for all the stakeholders and thus steer the transformation into desired success (Nieuwenhuizen & Erasmus, 2007). All the four leadership style have great impacts and effects on the organizational change of the Kudler Fine Foods. Charismatic leadership introduces new and vibrant taste to the general management of Kudler Fine Foods as an organization. It creates a secure and free atmosphere for every individual to participate in the process of building the structure of the company. It would allow other people to consistently soar up in and thus inspire passion and create a cohesively strong system. A charismatic approach creates substance into the team designing the new change, thus expanding the horizons of every individual entailed in the process. Innovative leadership style would prompt the team to re-strategize continuously and create a strong well bound network in establishing an excellent system. Innovation will aim at introducing special and new changes to the automation as applied in Kudler Fine Foods and not anywhere else. This further enhances the necessity of recognizing what could be working and any associated issue that might fail to work in the process. Command & Control is a strong feature and leadership that must be adopted by the managerial. Command & Control calls for highest accountability process since similar undertakings have huge funds allocated for such process. This approach would avert unnecessary losses especially if the process is not well regulated. The leadership would introduce a pace setter style in the management process. This would be possible through setting of high performance levels personally and for the entire group. The approach can only be possible through epitomizing the behavior desired by other people (Nieuwenhuizen & Erasmus, 2007). Out of the four leadership qualities, everyone will be vital at different points of application. Charismatic leadership aims at controlling and assuring the stakeholders who might fear or doubt the capability of the system. Assurance of the stakeholder mainly comes before initiation or commencement of the change process. The charismatic approach would attract high levels of respect from the junior staffs thus enhancing the installation process. Innovative leadership style would challenge the system designers to be creative and innovative in their work so that they generate a quality product or platform for use. A system is exposed to timely maintenance and upgrade that will help in creating a crucial upgrade for the project. Command & control would be effective in realizing the established chain of command for the senior managers to junior manager levels. Pace-setting is relevant at the point of introducing enhancing quality through benchmarking other traits for different people. The following are some of the change management initiative that may not be effective during the change process. Extreme much confidence in the project. It is worth to note that system changes are slow and take relevant time and durations to adjust to their desirable levels. Excessive confidence generates an attitude visible to others as arrogance that may not auger well with expectations of the process. A persuasive communicator may relevant while striking deals but may not function well during an installation process. Installation and establishing of the new system depends hugely on the agreement or contract written down on the paper. The leadership styles would vary much depending on the level of desired by the service deliverer and in any case the establishing of a framework would be on contract basis.
