The marketing of the iPhone was done in tandem with the branding that Apple had in place, providing a platform from which to launch the revolutionary product. This study aims at analyzing the marketing techniques employed by Apple for the increased popularity of the use of iPhone by the university students through a primary study made with a participant group of fifty users of Smartphones on university campuses, using a questionnaire to collect data. Through the information provided by the questionnaire, the popularity of the iPhone among university students has been examined and the ways in which it was successfully marketed to the students has been explored.
