The usage of mobile phones has expanded phenomenally in the last two decades and the total number of mobiles in use now exceeds 4.6 billion. Whilst mobile phones were in the past content to offer the same type of communication services as traditional fixed-line phones, albeit through different technological processes, recent years have seen enormous advances in the growth of mobile computing technology.

Mobile computing technology has radically altered the scope and usage of traditional mobile phones (B'Far, 2004).Mobile computers represent remote computing devices that help users to perform computational functions through small display screens that are available in these devices. The invention of mobile computers has enabled computer users to manage many of their activities, which they would otherwise have to do with their desktop computers. The first mobile phone was designed in the year 1973 that is often considered as a stepping stone for the inception of the newest technology that defined mobile phones in the literal sense in a logical manner.
