Incident Report and Investigation Summary Response to the posting on ‘Future Marketing Implications’ The paper by the student has made good effort in tacking the issue of marketing and globalization though there are a number of issues and deviations that may help improve the paper. First, the question asked of the future implications of marketing but the student seemed to be focusing more on the current and past implications of marketing and globalization, a factor that may appear as a slight deviation from the main question.

In addressing the future marketing implications, the student ought to have included the role played by information communication technology in enhancing marketing strategies. With the advancement of internet marketing, the future implications of marketing will mean that a person will be able to market any product or service from anywhere in the world and in real time (Perrault, Cannon, & McCarthy, 2009).Secondly, I think the student has missed the point by bringing in the issue of global warming as being a consequence of various marketing strategies.

In my opinion, they should have discussed the future implications in terms of how marketing would have influenced both the microeconomics and the macroeconomics of a country amid globalization. The idea of marketing bringing in illnesses is a bit farfetched as most companies struggle to give their customers the best in the market, closely following internationally accepted standards of production and quality assurance. Besides, it is the duty of every consumer to be aware of the products and services and their side effects irrespective of what the law says about such products and services.

Marketing is a multifaceted tool in business and can have various implications like rapidly growing economy, and improved communication channels and strategies (Perrault, Cannon, & McCarthy, 2009).ReferencesPerrault, W. D., Cannon, J. P., & McCarthy, E. J. (2009). Basic Marketing: A Marketing Strategy Planning Approach. New York: McGraw-Hill Irwin.
