This includes the digital media, websites and social media.Internet marketing helps to fabricate a sense in the community. This is in that; the website makes interaction with the community easy. Interaction with the community ensures Harley-Davidson can market their products to numerous demographics.

Comparing with other companies, this tool has helped Harley-Davidson to reduce the gap between the sellers, and the community which constitutes the customers (Scott, 2008).Marketing through the internet helps to cover a large age group consisting of people in their 20’s to old folks who can access the internet. This tool of marketing unlike in other companies has made Harley-Davidson cater for a larger age group and consequently increase their customers.Internet promotions is a great tool since the company has been able to not just sell their products but also use the internet to educate the users on various application available on the products.

The company’s website acts as a training tool for first time users and consequently outreaches many people who are potential clients. This is unlike their competitors such as Suzuki and Honda who only use the internet to sell their product but not educate the customers on their use (Scott, 2008).Harley-Davidson web site helps Harley owners to sell numerous products via their web site without having to employ marketers. This helps to cut on promotion cost and thus increase the profits for the company.

Shoppers are able to make enquiries through the web site and thus saving on time and money. They are also able to get some tips on how to handle their motorcycles when they buy them. People who have interest in motorcycles are able to download pictures from the web site as well as be able to view the motorcycles from the past in the museum column and also learn how to ride a bike (Scott, 2008).ReferencesScott, M.
