For implementing this organizational change, communication plays the most vital role because it involves in directing, controlling and managing employees of the organization. For bringing change in the organization, a communication manager makes communication plan for the employees, customers and for himself (Dow & Taylor, 2010). Employees have many expectations towards their manager therefore, communication manager makes sure that change in organization and working environment has been properly communicated to the employees. The communication manager gives regular update regarding the operational change, employee’s performance feedback and change in objectives of their organization. Coordinating with customers is also necessary for the communication manager to bring change because without customer, organizations cannot survive in the market. The communications skills of the manager drive customers to make positive attitude towards the organizational change. Similarly, a communication manager should influence and motivate himself towards the professional development, because successful organizational change is dependent on the performance of the managers (Dow & Taylor, 2010). ...
These goals are approved by all the concerning persons in order to avoid conflict between the team members. Coordinating with Employees: Communication and coordination among employees are other elements involved in the process of communication. After implementation of goals, it is important for the communication manager to coordinate directly with the workers. The manager ensures that the plan is implemented by the employees in given period and they achieve all the organizational objectives (Papa, 2012). Providing Resources: Another important element in communication plan is the resources and they should be given to the team members so that they can implement the organizational plan. The resources help the managers to strengthen their employees by providing them information related to their task. Some features of resources section includes numbers of HR people, people involved in the project and other material that can be referred by the employees (Papa, 2012). Barriers for Organizational Change: There are certain barriers that communication manager have to face while implementing the organizational change. These barriers are: Resistance from Employees: When the organizational culture is change by the manager, it is very necessary for the manager to cope up with resistance from the employees. In the change process, employees usually do not accept the change because of some specific reasons such as time, environment, workload etc. therefore, these employees try their best to resist the change (Guffey & Loewy, 2010).
