This report has provided the effective repositioning strategy and effective management process the church needs to adopt and implement so that it can come out from the financial and operational constraints and manage the overall operation of the church and provide good service. This study might be beneficial for other academic case analysis regarding reposition an organization’s business to take out it in the growth stage. This study is also helpful for development of effective customer service management to enhance their satisfaction. So, it tells about business development with respect to customer satisfaction. 2 Industry overview Although church is a non profit service based organization but also face competition among all the churches in a particular location. EXCITE church is also facing competition with the other churches in the area. The church has been struggling to convert the first time visitors to their permanent members and also unable to retain the existing members. Some visitors prefer to join in the big churches due to the service quality in terms of ministry (Attaway, Boles & Singley, 1956, p.17). In terms of worship experience the big churches have full time ministry and the members can get ministry services even in the weekdays. This study is a case study analysis about the overall operations of Excite Church which is facing difficulties in managing its operation for the reason of financial constraints. It is an evangelical church located in Melbourne Australia. Though the church has been attracting many visitors and the attendance is also growing but due to the financial difficulties it is not able to efficiently manage its overall operation which includes employment of full time stiffs as well as the quality of the services it provides to the visitors and the members. The main purpose of this study is to develop the repositioning strategy for the church to attract more new members to increase financial resources so that it can provide quality services to its members and the visitors. This case analysis is developed based on the academic concept and can be used for the academic purposes only.
To generate sufficient fund at a time the management of the church needs to convince the local communities as well as the new students. The pastor needs to oversee the overall management of the repositioning activities so that optimum and effective allocation of the new fund is done. The pastor also needs to strict regarding the rules and regulation including punctuality and dress code of the members.
