You are playing Guess Your Card with three other players. Here is what you see:
Andy has the cards 1, 3, & 7
Belle has the cards 3, 4, & 7
Carol has the cards 4, 6, & 8
The question that Andy draws reads, “Do you see two or more players whose cards sum to the same value?” and his answer is Yes.
The next person is Belle and the question she draws reads, “Of the five odd numbers, how many different odd numbers do you see?” Her answer to this question was, “All of them.”
At this moment, Andy realizes the numbers he has.

Therefore, the sum of my cards must either be 14 or 18 since among the three of us two of us have cards with the same sum value. Now I know the sum of my cards: my cards’ sum value is either 14 or 18.
2. Using Belle’s question
From this question we realize we have the five odd numbers, that is, 1, 3, 5, 7, and 9. The ones that I can see are 1, 3, and 7. Because there are five odd numbers, then among my cards I must have 5 and 9. It has to be noted that the card numbers have to be between 1 and 9.
3. Intuition
Now that I know I have two odd numbers that is 5 and 9. I also know that my sum is either 14 or 18. Furthermore, the rules of the game are that I have three cards whose value is between 1 and 9 (Harris, 2000). The following steps show my third cards
Some of my two cards are 14 = 5+9
Since I have three cards then obviously the sum of my cards has to be more than 14. If the sum is more than 14 then it can only be 18 indicating my third card’s value is 4. Therefore, my cards are 4, 5, & 9.

Conclusion
Using information revealed by Andy’s question, I realized that the sum value of my cards is either 14 or 18. Using information from Belle's question, I realized that I have two odd numbers 5 and 9.
