Admission Essay Q. In the novel Animal Farm by George Orwell one character s, "All animals are created equal but some animals are more equal than others." Do you agree If so, how do you see this as being relevant in our world todayThe opening of the Declaration of American Independence written by Thomas Jefferson in 1776, stated, "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness.

" I understand successive governments must have made efforts in that direction, but the moot point is our streets still have people struggling to find that elusive happiness. On the other hand the country is home to many millionaires and billionaires. Some of us take pride in flaunting our wealth in the form of new cars, cloths and throwing off parties, but there's no mechanism which allows the participation of lesser privileged people in equi-distribution of wealth. Therefore, curiously observing the world around me, and experiencing the kind of inequality that persists in our society, the society which takes pride in being the most vociferous proponent of equality, I feel I cannot shy away from the truth and find myself in complete agreement with whatever George Orwell said in 1945, about the inequality being practiced under the banner of equality.

All men are indeed created equal, but why are there some men who are more equal than others Perhaps because, we, the elements in society, want to keep the arrangement like this, so that there are always some people who are less equal. Having differing amounts of wealth, difference in the numbers of cars or houses could be accepted as the result of difference in opportunities and efforts. But how do we explain the agony of the street kid, who wishes to pursue the basic education courses, but cannot because his family doesn't have enough resources to support his education.

Similarly, there could be inequality in the number of opportunities available to different sections of the society. Some of us are able to pursue our dreams of having education from quality universities and institutes, but the lesser privileged section may never be able to reach this far. We are all supposed to have same rights and opportunities for education, and I consider myself lucky that I am being offered the opportunity to write this admission essay and perhaps I'll be amongst the shortlisted one's to go for the course studying early child education, but I do realize that there are many more like me who might not have found the opportunity.

In fact education is the basic right which defines all other aspects of life. A well educated youth feels strongly about the values and disciplines. While those left out of education find themselves in the business of committing crimes and other anti-social behaviors, leading to further escalation in their share of woes.I must emphasize that definition of success varies from person to person, depending upon the circumstances and the ambitions. In my opinion long terms success means fulfilling one's long cherished dreams and recognition as an expert in the field in which I'm passionate.

I know it might be little too early to commit myself to a cause, but if provided an opportunity, I'll make my fullest contribution towards making the right to education equal to those section of the society as well, where the children are not able to study for want of enough resources and opportunities.
