Le Monde s 15 April 2009 Hubert Beuve-Mery is beleieved to be the founder of Le Monde, Le Monde is an evening newspaper in France and it is well trusted newspaper in France. The newspaper was first made available on the internet on December 19, 1995. Groupe Le Monde's principal publication is Le Monde. The paper is believed to be centre-left but if its editorial line is considered, it is found that the paper is moderate. The sinking of the rainbow warrior is considered to be one of the most famous publications of Le Monde.

The headquarters of Le Monde are based in France and the building where this newspaper is printed symbolizes the freedom of press. This paper will throw light upon Le Monde and all the necessary details will be provided in this paper. "The newspaper was established in 1944-as soon as the German army had quit Paris but whileWorld War IIcontinued-on orders of the new government of GeneralCharles de Gaulleas a means of providing a respected voice for France. It was printed on the presses of the defunctLe Temps,and a prewar correspondent of that paper, Hubert Beuve-Mry, was appointed its editor and director.

He insisted on, and was granted, the right to operateLe Mondeas an independent organ, with no government or private subsidies and with the right to formulate its own editorial policies. By the end of its first yearLe Monde's accuracy and independence were widely noted and it had attained a circulation in excess of 150,000 copies." (Le Monde, 15 April 2009). The newspaper has made its mark in France and the writers of the newspaper have full authority to express their views and usually they express their views that are backed up with good research.

The newspaper has had to face financial problems in the past but it has been very well established and no longer faces any financial trouble. Beuve-Mery is considered to be the founder of Le Monde. He was an editor and a French Publisher who not only established Le Monde but also took the newspaper to new heights. The newspaper is published in the capital of France, Paris. This newspaper is one of the most respected newspapers all across the globe and it is considered to be very important. It has established credibility by providing the French people and all the other people in the world with trusted news.

The writers and the editors play a pivotal role in ensuring that they keep delivering news that is backed up by research and most importantly which is trust worthy. "Its writers present their own views, with the result that the paper reveals no consistent ideological outlook, causing it to earn both praise and criticism from every part of the French political spectrum." (Le Monde, 15 April 2009). To conclude it is very fair to say that Le Monde has established trust and credibility which is very difficult to establish these days.

These are usually the two key elements for any newspaper that determine its success. Le Monde is expected to only grow from here and it has all the support it requires for growth.
