Mostly, what was happening was transference of responsibilities. They could have started off by utilizing their time to include project planning; this could have actually saved time. A strategy to ensure continuous production of goods, that they were known for, must have been devised; this could have saved the lost customers. Project success is gauged by comparing end result with projected results. A project is said to be successful if it is completed within the time and cost budgets and achieves the goals it is supposed to reach.

Success could not have been measured certainly before starting a project. However, techniques such as investment appraisal could have been carried out to see whether the project was worth pursuing. The renovation plan was included in the project because probably it was needed and they must have thought that it was a small change that could easily be adjusted. In my opinion, including renovation was not a good idea because it was not adjusted for in the budget. Project Scope: This project will allow the production space to grow by 25% of the present production floor area.

It will be modern and larger to facilitate more production and hence increasing customer base and loyalty. The project plan for project 2000 must include the answer to who will be involved with what. What their roles will be, who they are answerable to and who they are responsible for. The plan will include the project scope; what the project is supposed to achieve and why it is being sponsored. It will have information about when it is due and how and about its milestones and critical path.b.

Evaluate the Project plans for managing the project; include an approach to contracting for professional services & construction work.
