These boys were so impressed with its qualities that they decided to steal the moon. They drilled a hole in the moon and took it down using a rope and brought it to their own country. People were so happy with the arrival of moon in their country that they started dancing. These people took turns in oiling and cleaning the moon. But when, they were about to die, they requested that their share of moon should be put with them in their graves. Finally, when all of them died, the moon parts unite themselves in the underworld. When people in the underworld woke-up, they started performing regular duties like playing, dancing, drinking etc. This made a lot of noise and it disturbed the heaven guardian St. Peter. He came to the underworld, asked the people to return to their graves, and hung the moon high on the sky, to get rid of the eerie disturbing noises. ...Show more
