Organizational Ethics Issue Resolution Issue Clarification In the world of organizational ethics, there are many more practical issues than ordinarily meet the eye. The provision of ethics involves issues pertaining to the context of legal, ethical and professional domain, that are integral to the well-being of both the organization and the ethics provider. This paper shall endeavor to dwell upon certain areas of influence in the same realm, and help establish certain working parameters for professionals. Centuries ago, while the management of organizational ethics was in its technical evolution stage, the prime area of reference was only the provision of ethics. However, in today's world, where the scientific world has come of age in its standing vis--vis organization ethics and prevention, subsidiary issues have emerged that are considered to be of prime importance in the realm of ethics. The changes in society and life all around the world have brought about considerable changes in the lifestyles of people. Similarly, the provision of norms has seen its development through the ages, and many additional factors like ethical, legal and professional concerns need to be understood better. Stakeholder analysis The learning outcomes associated with this course are crucially linked to the integral understand of organizational issues and practice. Understanding the domain of every prong individually is of vital importance. As was mentioned earlier, knowledge of ethical issues to the cause of organizational practice has now become imperative. Though universal laws for humanitarianism and morality remain constant for humans, yet there are certain legal implications that are different for certain countries and even states within countries. It must be understood by a professional, that the legal clauses are not a matter of burden, but actually a facilitating and binding factor that ensures that the provision of ethics would be unequivocal and just for all. It is further understood, as to how can a certain ethics provider find oneself in a tight corner due to legal concerns, simply due to lack of awareness, and mere complexity of the management of organizations . The current face of ethics is largely a product of the advancement made during and after the World Wars. However, despite the magnitude and quality of work that was done at that time, the obvious constraint due to the war was that a systematic procedure for providing ethics cannot be established. Much has changed since then, and the corporate face of the organizations in the changing world has brought about a new shape to the domain of organizational practice. With the inception of concepts like quality and the ISO standards, what the world of today has realized, is that documentation, for any system of work, is not only essential, but is a must. Specifically focusing on the legal and professional issues, it has enabled to understand all the paraphernalia that are associated with the direct management of ethics. Documentation is as important as giving of training to the organization. No scientific analysis in the contemporary world is possible with out the necessary documentation throughput the process. Archival record, current and past medications, and future preventions, all are possible simply because of efficient records. Values Identification Though the importance and significance of the major issues has been established, yet appropriate working with these concerns in minds is still easier said than done. For a new professional, it is extremely important to properly identify with the issues. The ethical and legal concerns are very similar to the organizational ones in their dynamics. For one, the first thing that needs to be done with a organization is appropriate identification with respect to the symptoms. Only a sound knowledge of the traits of a organization and its patterns can help identity for the professional as to what is to be done with it. Similarly, with legal and ethical concerns, the first step is to identify any anomaly in the normal proceedings that are likely to produce a problematic response. Secondly, the step of an organization is to be properly analyzed so that the appropriate analysis course can be established. Much the same, in ethical and legal concerns, it has to be ascertained as to what is the error on judgment or practice, which would ultimately be taken ethics of in due course. The correct analyses before hand no only makes the life and analysis of the organization easier, but the process of provision of ethics also finds a comfortable discourse. By looking at the example from other papers and cases, one can establish as a bystander as to what were the real loopholes in the process, and what could possibly have been done in order to rectify them. Issue Resolution This is probably the most important element of the assignment, which helps the organization in preparation for the future challenges. This is one factor alone that differentiates the follower from the leader. The fact of the matter is, that many people in all professions tend to believe what is taught and practiced in front of them. They do not have the ability, urge and background to question - which is the most important feature in the development of management. Henceforth, the most credible feature of this assignment is that it would help in the preparation of analytical insight of the ethics providers. This means, that one would be able to have not only the necessary ability to accept the norms of management, but more importantly, it would generate the ability to logically criticize the same. Reading and evaluating scientific papers is one of the most important tools that help in making this possible. Inter-disciplinary and multi-faceted studies in studies always tend to generate a greater sense of insight in an individual. In the profession of organizational ethics, it is all the more important to consider such facts in the consideration for the benefit of the organization. This assignment helps establish learning patterns on the very same lines, wherein one is able to appreciate the dynamics and complexities involved in the management of organization ethics, while giving due consideration to the ethical legal and professional issues simultaneously. Addressing Objections Adaptive and innovative behavior is the need of the hour in a profession as dynamic and ever-changing as the organizational profession. So, when the moment of truth arises, it becomes very difficult for the problem to actually be managed by the book at all times. More often than not, there would be instances where people would be required to think out of the box, and to make decision that resolve issues in the betterment of both the organization and the professional. For this purpose, one needs to be well-versed with the professional requirement, ethical parameters, and legal concerns that concern one's areas of work. Only then, would one be able to see beyond the clouds and help establish a working domain that can yield progressive results. Although nothing can be projected definitively for the future, but this mode of research and working helps us understand as to what are the real challenges in this profession, and what modus operandi have other established over the years in order to resolve the complexities that arise therein. This may well be the first step in the correct direction, but as long as the vector for professionalism is well defined, nothing else seems to be a formidable barrier. The issues of professionalism, ethics and legality are very simple here. Firstly, how can a manager be ever certain of the fact that the organization is beyond analysis The concept is that the person is beyond cure for that specific professional with his specific knowledge. The person might well be treatable in different circumstances by a different person. Secondly, the ethical concerns do put many questions when the conscious decision of taking one's life is being asked about. This never an easy decision to make. And finally, whoever is the adversary in this case would be liable to make a legal issue about the case, on the pretexts mentioned above. This is more or less a no-win situation. Resolution Implementation Responsibility is not only a professional virtue, but a moral one. In the profession that has long been associated with messiahs for the ease that it provides to the needy, a sense of accountability is ever increasing. One has to understand, that working with humans, where is humanistically rewarding, also entails a level of responsibility that surpasses any other profession. This is because the margin of error is very less, and the damage done is to a living human being, much like us. This feeling must not develop a feeling of confinement on this profession; much the contrary, it should help o the realization as to how fragile and complex is the nature of work. Therefore, extra caution is required, and the people must be their first priority in this line of work. Thus, this assignment also helps in generating a feeling of accountability and responsibility within the ethics provider. This of course is an applied level of knowledge and skill that is desirous of all new professionals in any fields. Managerial level vision not only helps one to understand the situation at hand, but also gives one the overall insight that ordinary workers do not conceive of. These skills can only show their presence of and when they are learned at first, and then later on practiced. In conclusion, this case raises questions of violation of rules and regulation, lack of professionalism, ethical concerns in some instances. It not only deals with the life of a person but also the legal aspects involved. Legally, this is an issue because the organization is being 'tricked' into taking something that he is not willing to consciously. Though done with positive intent of analysis, yet the conscious organization can later on easily decide to file against these proceedings, on account of having been mislead with a comparison to evidence available on paper. In all, the biggest lesson to be learnt from this assignment is to have a greater an in-depth vision of my profession. Earlier, the focus was primarily on the organizational and analysis side of the issues, but now, there is a greater appreciation for the ethical, legal and professional concerns that are integral to the ethics of every organization. The change in practice will not be of procedures or methods, but of attitude. It is clear that where the importance of the academic knowledge in this holy profession cannot be undermined, the most important point is the correct appreciation of a holistic picture, wherein the general well-being of the organization is under consideration, and not just the organizational one.
