Yours sincerely Hugo Da Silva Manager Memo To: Carina Potts Cc: From: Kim Lee Date: 2/15/2012 Object: Child Care Policy Carina, Thank you for your draft of the new Child Care Centre policy, which you produced in a very timely fashion, and for the way in which you have worked so hard towards this project. However, after having carefully considered the policy, I would like to suggest that you reconsider some of its wording. The reason for this is that although I fully understand, and recognize, your need to ensure that the centre is run in an organized and professional manner, especially after your rather difficult experiences in the past, I believe this would be better achieved through a softer approach. I have, consequently, changed some of the wording, which I believe would be effective in obtaining the results that you are striving towards. Please could you, therefore, read through the re-draft and contact me if you have any questions or further suggestions. TO: ALL STAFF FROM: CARINA POTTS DATE: 4 SEPTEMBER 2007 SUBJECT: CHILD CARE CENTRE POLICY ___________________________________________________________________ In order to assure the successful running of the new Child Care Centre, we would like to ask all parents if you could help by assuring the following policies: 1. Please make sure that your child arrives at the centre between the hours of 8:00 AM and 8:30 AM. 2. Please note that all children must be collected between the hours of 4:30 PM and 5/00 PM. 3. We ask that parents provide a change of clean clothes, to be left in their child's locker, in case of need. 4. For the welfare of both your child and others, we ask that children are not brought to the centre when suffering from any illness. In the case of a member of staff noting that a child is ill, the parent will be asked to collect the child. Please note that this is for everyone's benefit. 5. Please assure that your child arrives at the centre in a clean and tidy condition. 6. Although it is hoped that the centre experiences few behavioural problems, we would like to reserve the right to appropriately discipline a child if the need arises. ___________________________________________________________________ Memo To: Tanya Crawford Cc: From: Kim Lee Date: 2/15/2012 Object: Expense Claims Tanya, I greatly appreciate the chance that you have offered me in allowing me to take on more responsibility in such vital areas, especially in consideration of the responsibility involved, and would like to take this opportunity to thank you for it. However, I would also like to bring your attention to your recent expense claims that you left in my office this morning. I am sure you are aware that all expenses need to be approved by Mr. Balfour, and that they should be covered by a brief report. However, I noticed that your last two expense claims were neither approved nor accompanied by the report. The claims are both for large sums - one for $3210 and the other $2450 - and I am rather concerned that I will be held responsible if I pass them. Therefore, would you please provide me with the required report and approval in future. Thank you for your understanding. PERENNIAL INSURANCE Ltd. Perennial Centre, Valley Boulevard, Urbgrad 23109 Telephone 06.4921.3200 Facsimile 06.4921.3201 www.Perennialinsurance.com Mr. M. Laing, 23 River Street, Scottstown 23198 22 September 2007 Dear Mr. Laing, Thank you for your correspondence concerning the payment of your monthly premiums. After having carefully studied your dossier, I noticed that you benefit from one of our most prestige packages, which included an incredible discount of some 10%. This discount, received due to your choice of opting for monthly payment, has enabled you to make substantial savings on all three of the policies that you hold with Perennial Insurance. Although it is clear that the cost of monthly payments does slightly increase the premium, this additional cost is extremely reasonable and highly competitive with other companies. I am, therefore, unable to accept your suggestion of lower payments, and will have to insist that you continue to pay the previously agreed amount under the present contract. This will ensure that you continue to benefit from such an extensive policy that was specifically designed to cover your personal needs. It was also while studying your dossier that I noticed that your monthly payments have been rather erratic recently. Under your contract, it is stated that in order to fully benefit from our discount and bonus systems, we do ask that payments are both prompt and regular. Despite the non-payment of your premium, it is highly probable that Perennial would have honoured any claims made by you during this period, but we cannot guarantee that this will always be the case. We do ask, therefore, that you ensure that your premiums are paid each month. Please be aware that if you choose to renew your policy with us at the end of this financial year, we would be pleased to consider another 10% reduction if choosing to opt for automatic monthly payments. We would like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank you for your fidelity to Perennial Insurance, and we look forward to a successful and mutually beneficial future together. Yours sincerely Kim Lee PERENNIAL INSURANCE Ltd. Perennial Centre, Valley Boulevard, Urbgrad 23109 Telephone 06.4921.3200 Facsimile 06.4921.3201 www.Perennialinsurance.com Gigabank, 1 Commerce Place, Melbourne 3000 22 September 2007 Attention: Joanne Cousins, Strategy Manager. Dear Ms. Cousins, I am writing to bring your attention to some difficulties that we have been experiencing through our direct debit system within Gigabank. As I am sure you are aware, due to both present media coverage and practicality, there has been a substantial increase in the amount of customers now choosing to make their premium payments to Perennial Insurance through your services. Gigabank, in fact, serves some 24% of our present customers, with forecasts indicating that the current rate of growth will both continue and increase. However, it has come to our attention that several procedures do not appear to be sufficiently in place for these operations to successfully take place. On more than one occasion, for example, a substantial mount of funds have been misplaced for some considerable amount of time, which has resulted in Perennial receiving a large amount of phone calls from angry customers. Unfortunately, this has now happened on six different occasions, with the latest resulting in 32 customers canceling their policies. Perennial Insurance also has a program within the different banks in which we operate that involves a free newsletter, which is given to each customer choosing to pay by this method. This is a very important, and highly successful, means of ensuring good client relations through an informative brochure that keeps customers up to date with new policies and special offers, while also providing puzzles, contests, trivia, and handy household tips. This has been an overwhelming success and something that many customers greatly appreciate and look forward to receiving. However, it would seem that the packages of newsletters are often not available. I would like to point out that Mr. Mel Bryars, who is responsible for both of these programs, has always served the needs of Perennial Insurance in a very professional manner. It is not, therefore, the desire of Perennial Insurance to make any accusations against Mr. Bryer's professional capacities. However, we would greatly appreciate if you could consider this matter. Yours faithfully Read More
