The fourth question was "Everyone works as a team" and out of 15 people, 2 strongly agreed, 13 agreed and no one chose the rest of the options. Analysis of the data obtained from the survey Questionnaire # 1 Management The survey shows that mostly the employees have a good relationship with their manager since a lot of people agreed and even strongly agreed. On an average this is great because it shows the manager is meeting his/her goals of leading people and not ruling over them unnecessarily. If people have a good relationship with their manager then they will be motivated to work and obey the manager as well. The manager also treats everyone fairly and equally since a lot of people agreed and strong agreed. This shows on an average the manager is doing a good job of treating everyone fairly but the ones with doubts might be lagging in their work. Obviously, the manager can not entertain lame excuses of not doing work correctly every time. The management at Pamida is doing a fine job since majority people agree that the management makes positive comments and this motivates the employees to work better. Only 2 are unsure and this can be overlooked since there are exceptions in all cases. The management also makes an effort to pitch in which is another good effort on their part since majority agreed and none disagreed in this case. This way the management is making a good effort to resolve if any, and to prevent conflicts between employees. The management is open and honest since majority agreed and only 3 are unsure which can be overlooked again. But none disagreed. This shows the management is truthful to the workers and this has a positive effect on employees since they get the feeling that the management cares and has faith in them. The supervisor cares about personal development of the employees since majority agreed. The people who disagreed can be overlooked because may be they have some grudges or may be it was their own fault since some people do not make an effort to improve but they believe and also give the impression that they are putting in their best efforts. But the supervisor is doing a good job overall. Majority agreed that the expectations are same from everyone but 1 strongly disagreed and 5 were unsure. Even if the expectations are same the management must make an extra effort to let everyone be clear about this fact since 5 are unsure and if one person disagrees then the management can not be blamed for it. The supervisor is impartial and is doing a good job since majority agreed but 5 were unsure and 1 strongly disagreed. Now once again the supervisor must have done something that 5 people are unsure and the one person who disagrees can again be overlooked since there are so many people in an organization. The supervisor must make an extra effort to let everyone be sure of the fact that he/she is impartial. The management is doing a good job in providing feedback since all agree. All agree that the management follows their progress. But the company must provide good training and coaching since people are unsure. Questionnaire # 2 Perceived Perception of Change There seems to be a problem for the organization here since only 2 agree that they feel they are part of the decision making process and the rest are unsure. This shows that only the best and most competent ones are part of the decision making process but the others must be given a chance as well. Majority employees agree that their thoughts and ideas are taken seriously which is a good sign since it shows the company is making an effort to involve all employees and delegate authority. All agreed that they are encouraged to offer solutions which again show the company involves the employees in the decision making process but obviously, only the best ideas will be implemented and rewarded accordingly. All strongly agreed and agreed that they take pride in working for the company. This shows the company is doing a good job in motivating employees and they are loyal to the company. This way the employees get a chance to grow personally and the company grows with them. Plus, the goodwill of the organization also improves in the labor market. All employees strongly agreed that the company promotes a family atmosphere. No wonder their employees are highly motivated and love working for the company since the organization has made sure to meet the employee's social and emotional needs. A homely atmosphere is comfortable and employees will love to work as a result. Majority agreed except 1 who was unsure that the company values are compatible with their personal values. The company has made an effort to relate with the employees and shared values means shard goals and employees are motivated to work better and for the company. All agreed that the company contributes to the community which means the company is socially responsible and has a good name in the society. This motivates employees in the company and new ones to join the company as well. Majority agreed that they would recommend the company to their friends but only 5 were unsure and this can be due to personal reasons or simply that they never thought of it. Thus, the company is doing a good job and due to which the employees are willing to recommend the company to their friends. Questionnaire # 3 My Work Environment The company is not doing a good job in maintaining a good work environment and this can negatively affect the employees. Since majority disagreed or were unsure that the supplies they need to their job well are always present. The company must make an effort to always make supplies available since this is a waste of time. Majority disagreed that they were happy with their work schedule and the company must look into this matter since this can lead to a high turnover. Thankfully, majority agreed except 2 who strongly disagreed that their workplace was safe. Safety is essential and no person can be overlooked since it's a responsibility so the organization must look into the matter to learn the reason behind 2 people strongly disagreeing. All agreed that everyone works as a team and this is good sign since the organization is doing a great job in making fruitful teams and this will lead to collective success of the organization. Plus this way the company can avoid conflicts. But the company must pay attention to the work environment of the employees. Review of the entire study This survey was a performance feedback of employees working at Pamida. The survey was based on the management, perceived perception of change and work environment. Through the analysis it is clear that Pamida is doing a good job currently because their management is good in delegating and relating with the employees. The employees are happy and satisfied with their management. The management makes an effort to help the employees feel as a special part of the company and that their personal development matters to them as well. The management is impartial and expects the same out of everyone so they treat all equally. The management is doing a good job overall. The perception of change is not only perceived but the organization makes an effort my encouraging and accepting ideas and solutions. But people do not feel part of the decision making process. The take pride in working for the company and would recommend it to friends. The work environment has to be improved since people are not satisfied with their schedule and supplies are not always present. But the workplace is safe and team work is a priority. Performance feedback is extremely important since it increases two-way communication between management and workers, results in mutual planning and goal setting, it helps identify performance problems and requirements, space for employee growth (promotions etc) and job satisfaction. It is important to retain employees since an organization is useless without them. Conclusion This survey shows that Pamida is doing a good job where employee motivation is concerned but they just need to improve working conditions. Overall, the company is doing fine. But the company must work with the schedules of employees since employees might leave the firm and they should also make available at all times the supplies that are required for the job. The few who are unsure or disagree must be paid attention to since it is important know why they feel like this because every employee is important. The 2 people who disagreed with a safe work place must be looked into because safety is always of prime importance and it can not be overlooked. The management must discuss with the employees and look into all their problems and reasons that might create dissatisfaction. Employees must be motivated since an organization needs them.
