Extract of sample "The Film Westworld"

Everything turns out to be a bloody scene wherein androids start attacking the guests and human staff in Delos Resort. One of the most striking characters is the android called the Gunslinger (Yul Brynner) who portrays a robotic Old West sheriff that kills humans. As Benjamin dies with the bite of the android snake, Brolin faces the out-of-controlled Gunslinger. Benjamin is lucky since the gun-slinging android shuts down at the end as some of its circuit splits.

DISCUSSIONS
It is remarkable that with the heights of technology, human has; they might have the idea of bringing real-life interaction between humans and machines. This is very evident in the movie the West World (1973). We can see that technological enhancement works to pursue better living and at the same time for recreation's sake. The highlight is that technology is promising in different aspects of life. Many inventions and discoveries of man produced a positive impact, however, it does not give guarantee that technology itself will be without flaws. Part of the expectation concerning technology is that it can be out of control. This is what exactly happened to the movie West World.
As the operators of the resort admire their wonderful work of robots providing services to humans, they were just shocked to see that everything is turning into a catastrophe. That is putting too much faith in technology, without realizing that the same things people enjoyed could be in the future the same things that put one’s life in danger. Interaction between humans and machines is an extremely exciting idea, but the film West World suggests how men can be drunk with the heights of human technology to do something that will violate their human morale. You can just imagine how the place suggests that anyone who chooses to stay in that place for a vacation might have experienced a fantasy of their own of having sex and killing. Technology by some means is good, however, the movie West World created a role-playing world wherein people can do whatever they want (killings, etc.) which might provoke wrong motivations in society.
What does the movie expose? Technology enhances human living, but it should be noted that technology should also preserve the good qualities of being human and will not violate any social norms. Would it be acceptable for a society that seeks to adhere to humane disciplines to encourage men to have the experience of killing? Or having sex with an inanimate object (robot)? Technology is well provided that its usage first leads to the consideration that no ethical or moral disciplines have been disregarded. A disaster would happen if a man desires to use technology to provoke humans to be inhuman both in acts and deeds.
