Now the conductors of the study have thought of using the British Studies Program to see whether or not students will excel in the said aspect. Students from 10 institutions have attended to participate in the study and together with them, the faculty gets to supervise and coordinate with what is being offered by the Program. As a brief background of the British Studies Program, it offers business courses such as accounting and economics and non-business courses like the Legend of King Arthur and the Geography of Great Britain.

The objective of the program regarding the study is that students are to be:(1) More cross-cultural tolerant and empathetic, and(2) More self-confident and independent can be observed from the design formulated from the study, we can clearly and able to see the changes or improvements made by the subject students so we can say that it is an appropriate design. A very systematic approach to the study and almost no subjectivity involved. In the beginning, those who conduct the study, of course, hypothesized that the program gives a significant positive effect on the students, but in conforming with the technicality of using statistics to assess the subject to see any progress made, they just gave a hypothesis that no improvement will undertake.

In statistics, that is called the null hypothesis. For them to be able to assess effectively, they used the instrument called the cross - Cultural Adaptability Inventory (CCAI) to measure how the subject students adjust to different cultural situations. To be more particular, the tool is intended to measure one's flexibility and openness, perceptual acuity, emotional resilience, and personal autonomy. According to the statistics gathered after the study, all of the four aspects measured by the CCAI showed an incredibly significant increase from the beginning to the end of the program.

The statistics are reliable because the way how the study was conducted is systematic, bias-free and there is a reasonable sample size of students. Talking of statistics, we can clearly tell that a correct conclusion had been made. After a one-tailed t-test, when we compare the before-program and the after-program data, there are significant differences at 0.5 level and 0.1 level of significance thus making the null hypothesis of no improvements made to be debunked. The conclusion made from the study conducted is uplifting for the program subject.

Through the statistics came up with from the study, one can conclude that Business Study abroad does not just help a lot in cultural Awareness and Personal Development of the students, it is effective. There are numerous strengths that can be seen from the study - from the quality of the subject program to the way how the results were assessed. While the apparent weaknesses are that the study is only conducted over a single study abroad program and over students coming only from one country which is why some significant noises will not be observable.
