Does a welfare benefit society? A welfare benefits society in a number of different way. This is because a welfare delivers value for the people of the society. The general condition of the people within the welfare state become better because the government is basically looking after the problems of the peoples. A welfare state is a very good way of understanding how a society will play its due role within the society. It is important to know that a welfare state looks after the issues of the people without any boundaries or segmentations. It gives preference to people alone and nothing else. The most basic criteria for providing services to people are that they live within the state and are thus an important part of the society. A welfare state is usually very appreciative by the people because they know that the governments is looking after their needs and requirement. The society can expects many benefits if the welfare state is bringing in value for the people and this can only happens when people are giving their taxes in a proper way and when there is accountability for everyone living within the society (Sainsbury 1999). It is thus very important for the people to understand the fact that a welfare state exists for their own betterment and they should appreciative this fact more than anything else at all. They must remain in touch with how a government expects of them to bring in more and more taxes as well as be loyal to the country’s different policies and measures. The need is to have proper check and balance within a country so that people can benefit from the steps that are taken by the government. At times it is difficult to understand how a country can becomes a welfare state because there are serious issues with financial handling requirements and people usually lose jobs due to one reason or the other. This means that finances and economic issues are important and they must be solves by the government so that a country can truly become a welfare state for the betterment of the people and the country itself (Glennerster 1997). The other countries will also appreciative this country because a welfare state is generally given respect by different countries in the world. A welfare state is usually giving the most basic and adequate facilities to the people which could include the health caring needs, the education impartment, the making available of food and clean drinking water, constructions of roads and pavements, proper leaders who get elected and many other things within the society. The role of the rulers and leaders within the welfare state is also essential because these people depend very heavily on the results of the elections which are done by casting vote by the general people all over the nation. This is a very important day for the country and it shows to everyone how unity exists within the welfare state itself. The plus points of a welfare state are there in front of everyone to see and understand clearly and apparently. A welfare state cannot exist at all if the government is not serious about making available the most basic needs of the people to them. This issue will then becomes into a huge problem because managing a welfare state is a difficult thing and this is known to everyone within the welfare state. The people appreciative the welfare state because they know that the welfare state will look after them no matter how difficult it is for the welfare state itself. The resources might dry up and thus problems could start to take place but a welfare state is usually self-sustaining and looks after the rights and privileges of the common man and woman on the street within the country. The concept of welfare state is important because it makes the difference between the rich and the poor come to an equality level and this is necessary in today’s times (Hughes & Lewis 1998). It is necessary to avoid the divide that exists between the rich people and the poor people within any country of the world and solving problems under this subject is a good thing without any doubt at all. The concept of welfare state is also even more important because it relies on the strength of the country that it can make available all the resources for the sakes of its own people. This is a very good step that a country can take and it should be appreciative by just about everyone. A country must make sure that its people receive the most attention and the aid factor for the other countries should be avoided when the sufferings of its own people is a big issue (Qingwen 2007). There should not be any doubt that welfare states usually boost the economy of the different countries. The people work hand in hand with each other and look after the rights of the common men and women in the country. They gives their best efforts and makes sure that the fellow brothers and sisters within the country have economic prosperity in their homes. However this could be difficult step if the financial situations are not handled in a proper way and when the welfare state loses out on providing good quality education and healthcare standards to the different people living within the same country. The standards should usually be followed in a very direct and open way so that there are no issues which could stand up in the future. Also the issues must be analyzed in a proper way so that these issues do not come back to scare the people in the future. There is a good amount of reasoning available for understanding how a welfare state can function in a good enough way (Pierson & Castles 2006). The need is to have proper accountability of the government officials so that no one can take other for granted and the people win at the very end no matter how difficult it is to make available the resources for them. There is a very important need to understand that a welfare state will work for its own people and not give away the resources to the other people within different countries of the world. This can take place when the country wants to earn revenue but forgets that its own people are starving and do not have shelter to live. A welfare state depend on its people very much because it is because of those peoples that welfare state is present itself. A welfare state is a model for every society in tha world. Therefor it is important to understood that a welfare state look after the well beings of the people and the people who live within different countries of the nations. Some nation copy the example of these welfare state so that they could become perfect and also to become top ranked within the world the concept of welfare state is adopted by different people of the nations. A welfare state is usually very appreciated by people because it is there for the people itself and nobody else can make sure that the people do not benefit because of tha policies taken by a welfare state. It must be realized that a welfare state is usually very good for a country and it will bring good results for it in the long term productivity and efficiency of the country’s society as well. In the end, it would be important to mention again that a welfare state is very important for the overall working basis of a country. Every nation must try its very best to becomes a welfare state so that its people could live in prosperity and there are no issues for one another. A welfare state is thus a very important ingredient for bringing people together on one platform. This is needed for nation building and unity which is very necessary in times which are trouble. The leaders must put emphasis on having a welfare state so that the people can elect them again to serve these people in return (Castles 2004). The leaders should be accountable for all their actions and steps so that there are no problems at all for the people living within these countries. Every government must try to become a welfare state so that it could serve the cause of its own men and woman and this is important in order to have prosperity, growth and development within infrastructure of the country. In the long term, this will have more productivity within the country itself which is a very important thing toward achieving the goles. References Castles, F. (2004).
