It is true that terrorism must be totally condemned in all ramifications, but the fact remains that the habeas corpus that says that the US president has every right to attack any nation, persons or organizations that is suspected to have any link with terrorists is more like the US putting the laws in their own hands. The effect of the federal habeas corpus was felt when the United States of America attacked Iraq without the permission of a superior body, the United Nations. The US claimed that Iraq had links with terrorism and that they had weapons of mass destruction (WMDs), and so the US attacked Iraq, thereby upholding the statutes of the post 9/11 federal habeas corpus.
