A mentally healthy person is able to enjoy life at the fullest. Such persons do not linger on small problems, rather they ignore problems and they enjoy small joys. They have a general positive attitude towards life and they don’t keep complaining (Holmes 2010).
Bouncing back from adversity is a major component and a symbol of positive mental health. If an unfavorable event occurs in their lives, mentally healthy people recover from it very soon and they do not indulge in self pity. They come back to their normal self very quickly (Holmes, 2010).
Mentally healthy people lead balanced lives. They do not indulge to the limit in anything. All their choices and decisions in life are balanced.
