History has witnessed the advent of the U.S.A as a progressive nation because of her open door policy in terms of fundamental rights and growth opportunities. The rich cultural mix of nationalities and ethnicity in most states of America are a key indicator of the liberal outlook and the well-cemented secular-democratic structure of the country.
In the wake of an infallible government structure whose key strength is a strong and staunch literate class; the question of closing its doors to the world for education does not hold much ground. As the world shrinks to the size of a cyber-community, the flow and exchange of information takes place at the speed of light. In such a scenario, attempting to limit the user-base would only mean retracting to the pre-tech era and thus setting back the nation by several decades.
Imparting knowledge and educating people is not a one-way process. The spread of information only leads to the further development and evolution of the source. The world has seen how English came to become the world’s most preferred language for communication. It was owing to the fact that the British opened their doors to the world; to immerse in the British mode of instruction; that the English language reached out and nested itself in the farthest nooks and crannies of the world.
America is a secular democratic country in which all religions and cultures are respected and treated equally well. In fact majority of the people all over the world like to migrate to America because of the quality of life there and the opportunities provided to all irrespective of from which part of the world the immigrants came from. Many people from different countries and cultures are currently working or staying in America. America is not keeping any discrimination towards the foreigners while dealing with them.
