Fossil fuels burnt to achieve humanistic objectives raise the extent of such greenhouse gases in the atmosphere as carbon dioxide, methane, nitrous oxide and chlorofluorocarbons. Besides, rapid deforestation has also contributed to the 30% increase in the extent of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere over the last two centuries which is even expected to double in amount by the end of 21st century should the current practices continue. (Hamburg et al, 1997). Methane, second to carbon dioxide in amount in the atmosphere is generated from rice cultivation and decaying landfills. Human agricultural and industrial activities have drastically increased the amounts of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere which has led to an increase in temperature and ozone depletion. Studies have been conducted on various levels to estimate the human contribution to the change in climate and scientists are of the view that had humans not been involved in the game, Earth’s surface temperature would not have even risen by 0.5C where it is actually foreseen to rise by 3.5C till 2100 since 1991. (Hamburg et al, 1997). Research suggests that humans are chiefly responsible for changes in climate.

The climate change is the term that is used to refer the Global warming due to the emission of the green house gases. The major reason of the climate change is the emissions of green house gases. The issue is now realized and many governments and industries try to opt more sustainable ways instead of utilizing the conventional methods to generate energy.

This debate is such a huge deal that not only organizations who are responsible for saving the planet are concerned about it but the leaders of each and every country are in constant quandary that what are the measures that could be taken to restore the climate.
Climate change can be due to: Natural variability – warming or cooling due to sun spot activity, solar radiation Human activity – burning of fossil gases into the atmosphere, causing enhanced greenhouse effect However, there is much debate about what causes climate change, and the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change refers to a change of climate that is attributed directly or indirectly to human activity that alters the global atmosphere.
It is measured using atmospheric elements such as humidity, temperature, atmospheric pressure, water vapor concentration and other valuable atmospheric elements. Weather is the atmospheric condition of a location at a given time, these conditions include cloud, rain, sunshine and wind intensity (Korte and Constable, 2005).The climate system generates the climatic pattern of a given place which is determined by the five major components of a given climatic system, these include: hydrosphere, atmosphere, land, cryosphere and biosphere.
This is the cycle of life rather than what alarmists purport to be the catastrophic incidence of global warming caused by human activity. On the other hand, because warming ceased at least 12 years ago, global warming alarmists are now starting to admit that the earth is presently cooling.
Significantly, climate change predictions give man knowledge of the future; and these predictions cannot compared to magic, neither are they opinions or speculations.(Ricky, 2008, 1) Climate predictions are based on investigation in the field of science i.e.
Pollution may be caused by different elements such as emission of toxic materials into the air or water streams. Industries have greatly participated in the overall increase of air pollution and hence people and governments all over the world have been seriously concerned about formulating such programs and schemes which might prove fruitful in tackling this challenge.
