As organizations are relying more and more on their external resources, their performance is dependant on the performance of its supply chain. Most business entities today rely on innovation pending from exterior sources. Consequently, the organisation’s presentation depends further on its exterior resources, and transforming the organization of exterior resources a planned issue for achievement.

The 3 main external resources are the strategic resources, key resources and the non critical resources.3. What are the benefits of supplying local knowledge to headquarters?There are much benefits of supplying the local knowledge to the headquarters, it is the head quarter which analyses and monitor the various actions and the activities carried out by the local offices.The supplying of the local knowledge is much important to the HQ, the knowledge help to understand the various actions and the programs conducted by the local branches, and to measure the effectiveness in the market.

The various program in the branches involve the cash transactions, the expense can be calculated by the HQ and the overall idea can be attained about the budget. The financial planning is an important aspect as the HQ is considered and information provided to them gives the clear understanding about the finance, the profit and the loss.The many exploits and the misuse can occur in the local offices when any of the activities are carried out without the prior knowledge of the HQ. The HQ is the places were the budget planning and the financial analysis is carried out, the supply of the local knowledge help them to plan the budget effectively and in organizing effectively.

The other benefits of the supplying of the knowledge are the: • Determine what process to get better and by how to the extent to improvise the same.• direct the consolidation of branch operations which outcome in major cost reduction from eradicating duplicative resources.• produce customary process and frequent information systems in the business units for the quality improvements.• build up a common scorecard to measure the performances of the employees and to make the improvement on the process.
