Vibrating plates are used as an alternative way of achieving such goals like losing few pounds of weights by doing heavy exercise for hours, in prevention of bone fractures, in the treatment of osteoporosis, in enhancing the Bone Mineral Density (BMD) of the femoral neck and…
In this article suitable frequencies and time periods for using vibrating plate are discussed. In the first section diseases like osteoporosis, sarcopenia, BMD etc., are discussed. In the second section old methods for the treatment of these diseases and for the purpose of losing weight are presented. Draw backs of those old treatments are presented in the subsequent section. The effects of using vibrating plates are presented in section five. Then we describe the most effective ways of using vibrating plates, selection of appropriate frequency of vibration and selection of time limit of using vibrating plates, first for the pupose of losing weight, then for osteoporosis and in the end for enhancing the Bone Mineral Density (BMD) of the femoral neck and encumber/lumber and reduce persistent back pain in postmenopausal women with osteoporosis. In the end conclusions are drawn on the basis of discussion in the paper. This article will prove helpful to vibrating plates manufacturing companies to prepare user manuals as well as to the users in using vibrating plates.
